I'll use travel pack in a couple of weeks
Got a pack of travel laundry strips for free through The Guardian. Delivery was very quick.
Going on holiday in a couple of weeks time so I'll use them then.
UPDATE: Back from safari in Botswana. I used the laundry strips in camp. Brilliant! Melted so quickly and got all the sand and dirt out of my clothes in a hand wash.

I think it's going to be good but, having only done 2 washes since I received the Melt laundry leaves it's too soon to tell - will Melt dissolve the shiney patches under my husband's tee shirts? And one dirty mark was still there on my jeans after the wash...

Hi David, thanks for being with us and thanks for taking the time to review. I'll send you more specific details to help get rid of those types of stains by email shortly. You need a stain removal product or better still natural remedies for some stains like those. Treat before washing as washing can lock in stains and they'll never come out,
Detergents can only do so much with stains as otherwise they'd need to be packed with lots of extra ingredients that are nasty and/or expensive. Melt is really effective against normal especially organic stains when used quickly, due to it's unique enzyme formula, but a few minutes of pre treatment with a vegetable stain removing bar goes a long way with some stains.
Hope that helps, perhaps try a stain removing product before wash and do feel free to reappraise when you have used it for a while. Any stain request, just let us know, we are here to help. Thanks Team Melt!

Hi Karen, thanks for your review. We definitely are here to help with tips on stain removal and our blog posts cover some examples from wine to blood. Just let us know what the stain is and fabric details and we will put together a simple bespoke solution/formula you can make at home.
Melt does contain strong enzymes to break down organic stains but as we say there is no detergent that can remove all stains by itself, stains can be permanent but the right treatment before washing goes a long way.
An example is pen ink on school shirts: Impossible for a detergent to shift alone but to avoid throwing it away, try a little IPA/Rubbing Alcohol and a cotton wool bud then wash in Melt. I use that all the time with my kids shirts.

The strips are great! The only snag has been the subscription being a little tricky: we expected our next delivery sooner given the allocated time. But that was solved by moving our date forward.

Great product and an excellent company
Great product. Really gets clothes clean with one strip. I’ve a subscription which they helped me tweak as the boxes were coming too frequently. It’s now perfectly timed for our usage. Support is spot on with a personal response, quick reply and exactly what I needed. Excellent company, highly recommended.
