The absolute best laundry detergent …
I’d run out of Melt Laundry sheets and so bought another brand to tide me over. The difference was astonishing. I’d gotten used to how clean, fresh and bouncy my clothes feel with Melt Laundry sheets, and this was a very stark reminder. Their delivery is always quick so in future if I’m close to running out, I’ll reorder and not rely on other brands.

Great product
I have been using MELT LAUNDRY STRIPS for some time now. Very happy with everything. Easy to go into my online account and check on orders and amend if needed. Arrives in a cardboard pack with no additional unnecessary packaging. Easy to use and no plastic laundry detergent bottles to throw away! Perfect solution for us!

Wonderful Product
My laundry is noticeably cleaner than with traditional liquid and they are so compact and easy to use. I also get these delivered to my elderly mother who can’t manage heavy liquids and powders and the measuring involved. Melt strips are light and easy for her to use so she can keep doing her own laundry.

Fantastic product - wouldn't be without them.
Fantastic product. Letterbox size cardboard packaging, so delivery and storage are very convenient. They clean better than any shop bought detergent I have tried (I have messy children), and they smell incredible - I really hope they release a fabric spray because I would douse my house in it. The fact that these are concentrated strips is the biggest plus for me. I am eco conscious, and love that no water is shipped, lowering emissions from transportation. There is also no plastic, another huge plus for me. Although the box is relatively small, don't be fooled, I get between 20-30 loads per box, and I have a 10kg machine. There is nothing I don't like about Melt Laundry strips, and recommend them to friends and family as my number one laundry product.

Detergent Gunk is a real issue for things like pods but not many people know until they get skin irritation from the large build up in their drum which is out of sight.

I’m happy with Melt laundry strips. Easy delivery via Royal Mail through my letterbox. Easy to store under kitchen sink. Smell nice. Work well, though have to double up for more filthy stains. No plastic, no lugging huge bottles home.

Hi Alison , thanks for your feedback and we are glad to have made things better for you. We are always seeking improvement though. So far we/you/us have saved over 20,000kg of plastic from ever being made which I'm told would fill a lot of big swimming pools! As for stains, just let us know any bad ones and the garment and we'll give you a custom solution as its good practice to pre treat where possible. Things like oil and ink are impossible to shift without other products but we try and keep it natural. Thanks again, Team Melt

I've been using melt laundry strips for over a year now and they are brilliant. So convenient, smell lovely, and work perfectly well. It also feels great to be doing a little for the environment by reducing waste, packaging and using natural products.

I have been using these strips for a while now and the only comment I have is it would be nice just to have a little fragrance… that may be going against the ethics however I recently tried a competitor brand which advertised fragrance which was nice however it did not get the clothes clean! So I am back with trusty melt!

The shorter the wash, the more the fragrance lasts and stays 'fresh'. You can always add essential oils too. Good green credentials. Prompt delivery. Easy to amend order. Pleasant smell. Cleans the wash but a rendancy for crunchy towels.

If you mean crunchy towels, that's just a build up of detergent/softener in the towels fibres so just do 2 hot washes (no detergent) of all towels together: Wash 1 with 200ml of white distilled vinegar in drum before the clothes and the
2nd wash with 100g of Baking Soda as above. It will strip out excess detergent and make your towels like new but softer! Do every 6 weeks and try using a little less Melt thereafter.

Hi Val, many thanks it's great to make you happy. We really appreciate you being a subscriber with us.
You can also tear the strips say for hand washing a single item. If you want to use less for larger loads, try tearing and spreading them around the load/machine making sure some go in the drum before the load.
It takes a few extra seconds but will use less and cost less as it focuses the detergent more evenly
We always say: try doing that with a pod. 😂

Not good cleaning whites
Not very good at getting my whites white. Still came out grey. Ok for washes to refresh clothes rather than wash dirty clothes.

Thanks for taking your time to review. The link below is how you can get your whites white again. There are many such blogs online as white's do fade over time. No detergent will avoid this unfortunately.
As for stains let us know what you are trying to shift and we offer a free fast custom solution. Melt is really competent at most stains as it contains bio enzymes but bad stains should always be pre treated with a stain removing product. No detergent will remove bad stains every time.
A vegetable stain soap applied to a stain for a few mins works great and also will whiten collars a little.
