I love these laundry strips
I love these laundry strips, they have a lovely odour, don’t leave streaks or residue and would definitely recommend them. There are two of us, and a box of 60 lasts a month (we do a lot of washing on dog beds/ rugs too, can vouch leaves all smelling lovely)

It's nothing sinister we just choose to brand Melt strips as a crossover brand that appeals to the mainstream and big brand users. A little eco branding goes a long way on packaging but as we said your input is noted. Shouting out every single eco benefit and accreditation logo in sustainability is a little preachy and off-putting to many big brand users and that's the habits we need to change to make change more than a club. Hi Kathryn, that's so very kind. Many thanks. We are glad you would agree that a few pence a wash (still we are only 1p/garment) can be a small price to pay for not having 12 empty plastic jugs or boxes a year to dispose of. The postage is a cost we don't pass on and saves the trip to the lovely detergent aisle too! A regular hot clean/service wash of a machine and filter check can save hundreds £ a year and improve machine performance. We like to think of laundry and Melt detergent as part of a system that helps water get dirt out of clothes whilst not making our water more polluted. Highly Recommended
I have been using Melt Laundry strips for several months now (enough time, I think, to give an informed review).
The strips work well (even on muddy, oily work clothes) and are very easy to use.
My account is easy to access and modify when needed. Several times I have had to either slow down or speed up my order and it has never been a problem.
If I need to reorder urgently they arrive within a couple of days.

I love this product
I love this product. Cleaning quality is great and great delivery. Love the smell of the sheets in the box, but wish the scent could be slightly stronger when washed. I am not dropping the score as I am happy overall.

Hi Karen, thanks for being such a loyal subscriber and for your review, it's great to have something material to discuss.
Above all else since we started fragrance is the most divisive some want more some less and some Love it and a few even hate it! We will bear this in mind as we formulate future products also.
There are a couple of ways to be sure you're getting the full fresh fragrance just make sure the machine is as clean as possible and the filter is unblocked as those can dull the fresh outcome. The dirty/part blocked filter (even a coin does this) in particular can leave clothes very wet/fusty at the end as the pump doesn't empty the drum fully.
Of course you can always use a little more: the strips can be torn so you don't need to use a whole extra strip and keep costs down.
Finally you can place into the clothes as well as on the top of the load that works for me.

Environmental gem
Lovely scent. Hassle free delivery service. Can fit through the letterbox so no need to be in. Wash well. Happy to know I’m doing my big for the environment with no waste but more expensive so will need to see how finances go and see how long I can maintain the subscription. Great product though.

Let me email with some up to date tips and we can help you use less strips and save money. You seem to have soft water (lucky you!) so in theory should need less than those in hard water ares like the South East.
Melt has not increased prices for subscribers so per wash (22p) is one of the cheapest even v big brands. With all the advantages.
Other "eco"brands have increased prices 2 or 3 times (40%) in the last 12 months without even telling their subscribers. We would definitely not do that!
We can now also help with custom stain removal also. Just tell us what you are struggling to shift (wine, blood on silk etc ) and we will reply quickly with a plan. Please watch for an email soon and we can then work to extend your frequency and save you money. Thanks The Melt Team

I have been using these for a few…
I have been using these for a few months now and whilst they leave clothes with a pleasant fragrance they don't get the dirt out properly. I have noticed things like greasy stains don't wash out. I'm also having to use 3 to make the fragrance last. So not as happy with them as I was originally.

Hi Sarah, my apologies.
We should have been more vocal about stains and how to treat them: are still a very young brand. Most stains need pre-treatment, if you google you'll see every brand says the same. Grease stains especially.
No detergent claims to get rid of all stains in a normal wash. Though in tests melt is often the top rated as we have bio-enzymes. I'll send some tips on this for you but basically a pre-treat with melt as a paste or "fairy" liquid is ideal. Fairy liquid is designed to cut through grease obviously. The sad truth is sometimes stains do not come out, they can be baked in.
As for fragrance, Melt is fresh but it is subtle. To achieve that long lasting fragrance you need a lot of nasty toxic chemicals like Benzene to extend it. We prefer fresh and clean.
When performance "deteriorates" we find it's 99% of the rime the pump filter and a service wash that is needed. Melt has not changed.
I would recommend splitting the strips and spreading them in the load evenly (instead of just placing on the top)
