Terrible, completely terrible service. They keep my laptop from 13/05/25 (today is 25/07/25) and I don't know when or if even i will get it back! Only getting excuses that they waiting for parts, or wrong parts arrived. They even write me a message twice that I will get replacement laptop and without any notification they decided "no will will try to fix it again ". Only webcam didn't work in my laptop and they can't fix it for over 2 months!

Excellent service… the engineer knew exactly what the issue was and resolved it really quickly! He was friendly and helpful and explained everything and the PC has been performing better than it ever has! Thanks!

For what was a relatively simple repair, MendIT were very accommodating of my reluctance to open the machine and the distances involved! Communication was excellent and the specialist explained the full procedure which was carried out efficiently and effectively.

In the modern day customer service is very poor and not good until you experience meditation and chillblast, Carl and Dave especially went above and beyond to resolve my special needs sons computer.fromthe first call to the service engineer coming he was called Raymond it was professional friendly and very helpful and a week ahead of schedule, the engineer engaged with my son set up extras for him and advised him professionally and friendly can not praise this company any higher. And on a personal note Carl Dave and Raymond was 3 of the most professional friendly knowledgeable and sincere people in customer service I have ever had the privilege to deal with thankyou so much Mendip.

Engaged very promptly from the request from Chillblast. Slight pause in parts yet circa 2 weeks later and with the fabulous engineer on site, replaced, sorted and fixed. Good experience, clearly lots of demands on the teams and engineers so under pressure but so impressed. Prompt, polite and know their stuff, which is always a plus.

Adam attended our ailing gaming pc, and took real care with its repair. It’s clear that he treats customers with absolute respect and ensures the repair is done correctly.

My computer had developed a fault, it wouldn't start.
I spoke to a helpful chap at MendIT and he arranged for a technician to visit and fix the fault. Within three days of speaking to MendIT, Raymond the technician called to my house. He stripped the computer down, replaced the faulty component and rebuilt the computer. All with no fuss and explaining to me what he was doing.
Raymond was efficient, helpful and very friendly.
I am very grateful for the excellent service received from MendIT.

Sent my laptop off for repair and the team let me know it was an issue with the motherboard.
They initially replaced it and sent my laptop back, only to find it blue screening once I started it up again.
They told me to send it back again and they sourced me a replacement laptop.
I worked with Abid who was really helpful and quick to respond. He kept me in the loop when there were delays getting the replacement. Abid should get a raise!

I'm not very good with PC's but I found the customer service team really helpful, they called frequently to discuss the issues and they gave plenty of helpful suggestions in a timely manner to solve the issues, took a few days to find the problem but they were really great the entire time, would recommend!

You have to do all the chasing. the on site repairs they offer are a lie this is not an option once you have an issue just at point of sale. then they delayed my repair because the 4090 was out of stock even though its a 7800xt in for repair. no idea what they are doing.

Easy to get in touch and a helpful engineer who diagnosed the issues and solved the problem.

Called to set up a repair for microphone input not working on new PC build. Receptionist was professional and helpful, asking questions of what is wrong and if I've tried some of the obvious fixes. Needed a call back for a tech to help, which happened two days later. MendIT Tech was able to fix the issue remotely. Thank you for the help!

Having bought a pc from Chillblast, it broke down during christmas, 2 weeks after purchase. I am taking away a star not because it took a month for "mend it" to respond but to a rude customer service. However Jay Parmar, a fantastic computer buff came and checked the pc. Did a thorough examination of all parts. Had in his tool kit a full set of replacements ready.
Without hesitation would give the individual Jay Parmar five stars. A professional anyone would be happy with. I can only assume it was an electric spike which downed the system, as I am hard of hearing, I couldn't catch his explanation. Anyway, one happy customer that was cheeky enough to ask Jay to fit the gpu bracket to hold the weight of the graphics card, and he obliged. Thank you Jay.

Back in November 2024 I had been having on going issues with my PC for months to the point where it was almost unusable. After speaking with Abid he arranged for Jay to come out, who replaced the CPU and the motherboard. I finally have a PC where the mouse is no longer freezing and going into the blue screen. Jay went above and beyond to ensure that before he left that I had a functioning PC. I had some minor issues after that which I was able to resolve on my own. Outside of that I have had no issues with my PC. I would highly recommend him. Jay did a great job

I purchased a brand new PC from Box.co.uk in April 2023 and opted for the 3-year onsite warranty through MendIt. Unfortunately, on the very first day of my week off before Christmas, when I was hoping to wrap up a track I’d been working on, my PC suddenly failed to display on the monitor.

Although I had the onsite repair warranty, I was told that, due to the Christmas rush, I likely wouldn’t see a MendIt engineer until after the new year. I was starting to panic, so I asked if I could drop my PC off at the MendIt office in Bradford - a two hour journey for me coming from Birmingham.

Luckily, I was connected with Abid Riaz, who just happened to be wrapping up his calls when I arrived. He kindly agreed to look at the PC on the spot.

Given the high demand during the festive period, I was incredibly fortunate that Abid was available to assist me immediately.

He quickly identified the issue with the memory after checking the CPU, BIOS, and performing various diagnostics. He explained the process thoroughly and replaced the faulty memory, all while ensuring the PC was working perfectly again. To top it off, he even cleaned and dusted my PC, making it look brand new!

Abid’s professionalism and dedication were clear throughout, and I could tell he genuinely took pride in his work. He not only fixed the issue but saved my Christmas by getting me back on track to complete my project. I’m beyond grateful for the exceptional service he provided, and I will definitely renew my maintenance contract with MendIt.

Abid is truly a credit to the company—thanks to him, I’ll have a stress-free holiday and can finish my work on time!

Important Update: Trustpilot Needs to Be Aware of Misleading Reviews

It’s important for potential customers to know that Mend IT Ltd. went into administration on 30th March 2024 and is no longer in operation. The company now operates under the name Chillblast.

It’s misleading that this Trustpilot page is still using the Mend IT Ltd. name, as 98% of these reviews are from when the company was under its previous management. From mid-September 2024 onwards, a few reviews may relate to the new team at Chillblast.

A significant portion of these reviews (around 95%) are based on work done by the previous engineers, who no longer work with the company.

Trustpilot needs to be made aware that these reviews no longer accurately reflect the current company or its operations, as the reviews are outdated and based on a business that no longer exists in its original form.
