I ordered a supposed to be a real leather handmade handbag on 7th December 2025, it arrived 10th January 2026, (From China) It was cheap fake tan plastic, with a broken inner zip, surely this AI produced company should not be allowed to advertise itself, It also preported to be recommended by Claire Fontaine, Not a real person, but also AI Generated!!!
Wrong item delivered. Impossible to speak with them to resolve issues. Emails not read and understood. Quality is debatable. Unwilling to swap for the right item. Stuck with the bag I didn’t order. Avoid the inconvenience and shop elsewhere.
I got caught by this very professional bunch of scammers.
I got taken in by their completely misleading advert and placed an order on 14th December 2024.
Having contacted them on 7th January concerning non delivery I also cancelled my order having by this time found all these reports on the internet.
I fortunately paid by PayPal who immediately repaid me. Mernes informed me they couldn't refund me - just send me more non existant stock ( which I couldn't choose) to the value of my original order and payment. I copied Paypal with my corespondence . This included all the UK Trading Laws broken by Mernes of London.
As I write the Mernes adverisement is still being broadcast on my computer.

Extremely slow shipping, and they constantly lie to me. The product they delivered wasn't the one I ordered, but it's also not only poor quality, but much cheaper than the one I ordered and paid for. Terrible company.
After many calls and negative responses the bag ordered did arrive but unlike anything advertised ,not leather but cheap plastic,so beware,yet another chinese subsidised onslaught of European companies
CON MEN.....UK buyer we've had dozens of people stung by these conmen. (1) Its CHINESE CON MEN (2) The products will be small and plastic. YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED....so dont order or else you will be stung. Refunds LOL they offer 15-20% off for you to keep what is a TOY sized bag....made of plastic. If you return the goods they demand you pay for the return costs. Which means you have to add tracking ---in China there is no genuine tracking system and they will always say that they have not as yet recieved the return and then they keep your money and your stung.
