Illegally buried a neighbor's line

They illegally installed a neighbor's line through my backyard and damaged property. Tore up my yard to bury the line, and cut my Brightspeed line while doing so. I tried contacting them multiple times, they keep saying they'll reach out, days have gone by and they haven't.

The internet is down about twice a…

The internet is down about twice a month for 2 days each time. Its fast when its up but not worth all the down time. As much as I dislike xfinity...I'm switching back. If it would be down for an hour or two it may be worth it...but 2 to 3 days of downtime on each interruption is un acceptable.

T Mobile/Metronet Vandalized my Home

Avoid T mobile/metronet at all cost or it will cost you thousands of dollars. I got a flyer from T mobile in Jan to join their founders fiber internet in the area and have my price locked in for 10yrs. I signed up and they sent a technician out to install the internet. When he i arrived i expressly told him to not drill a new hole but use the existing one for the internet cable as the siding is old and will be prone to crack in the cold weather. The technician agreed and went out side but to my surprise I instantly heard drilling. Upset but willing to let it go i waited for him to return and asked him if everything went okay which he said yes. After he left i went outside to check on it and found that my siding had about a 2-3 inch crack where he drilled the new whole.

I called T-mobile ever 3-4 days for 3 weeks to constantly be told they are submitting a ticket and someone will call me in 2-3 business days which the never did. It was clear after the 5 or 6 time trying to get T mobile to respond to this damages they were doing nothing and just hoping i go away. So I filed a complaint with the BBB which finally got them to respond and they tried to claim they have no responsibility as the technician was a contractor and i have to purse him. I obviously rejected that because it was T-mobile who hired the contractor and I have a contract with T-mobile to provide services not some random contractor i have no information on. They finally called me when they realized i wasn't going away and got metronet involved as they informed me metronet handles the installation T mobile handles the servicing. so this is outsourced to metronet who outsources it to contractors. I had many siding inspect the damages and despite the small amount of damages they advise due to the age that the entire siding on the room with the damages be replaced due to repair jobs would not be warranty because they couldnt guarantee a repair on old siding would last.

Metronet refused this and instead found a local siding company who would do the job and metronet said they would warranty the area. Sounds great FINALLLY it would be fixed and if the repair failed metronet would take care of it. except when it was time for the funds to be released to start the repair job metronet sent me a contract to sign okay sure i guess? i read the contract and i had to agree release metronet from any liability or damages caused from the damage to the siding even unknown and future damages. it also stated that any agreements out side the contract are not valid. so this essentially mean the promised warranty by metronet would be invalid as it would be an agreement outside the contract and would be unknown damages. So metronet/tmobile was just openly lying knowing they would never warranty this because they know this repair job will not last. also if water damaged resulted be cause of this crack siding or repair failing it would be on me to cover it.

So PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY they openly admit to vandalizing your stuff and do every shady trick to avoid accountability

Recurring outages and poor support.
Metronet has frequent outages with no notifications, updates, or explanations. There’s no way to reach an agent by text, and when I tried reporting today through the website chat, the agent asked irrelevant questions about my property and animals instead of addressing the outage. Very frustrating unreliable

Metronet Customer Service: A Masterclass in Wasting Customers’ Time

Four days without internet and I’m still no closer to an answer from Metronet. I’ve been trying to set up my static IP and every time I speak with someone, they have me repeat the exact same steps I’ve already done with no change in results. I’ve now spent over eight hours on hold just waiting to speak with a representative or get transferred to “the appropriate team.”

The static IP team promises to call back in “15 minutes” but then six hours later I’m still waiting. I’ve spoken with more than seven different reps and still have no idea what’s going on or why my internet is down. Nobody follows up, emails go unanswered, and there’s no way to get back in touch with the person you were originally working with.

Metronet’s internet might be fine when it’s working, but their customer service is a complete nightmare. If you ever have a problem, expect to waste hours of your time and still be left in the dark.

Do yourself a favor…..NO!

If you’re ever thinking of dumping Spectrum for Metronet, do yourself a favor and rethink that.
Metronet……..WORST customer service ever.
No internet for 3 days while we were gone. Call. On hold for 45 minutes only to be lied to (there’s issues in your area. BS)and hung up on.
Call back. On hold for 40 minutes. Do this. Do that. What’s the serial number?
Well, a tech is going to have to come out.
First date available? July 17. 2.5 weeks from today.
Run. Do not do not do not sign up with them.

Horrible customer service hidden fees and raise prices

Horrible customer service. Told me the price was 69 dollars for a gig checked my bill n had a $12 mandatory tech insurance fee. Kept with them because I thought they were the only fiber out here in Jacksonville nc, 6 months later my bill went up to 120$+ the maintenance fee which they never once mentioned or maintenance. Internet gone out for weeks on end even though they promised it would be better and more reliable than spectrum, however is better they were very bad about fixing the issue promptly When I called in to complain rude snobby not American customer service agent gave me run around, n pretty much told me to deal with very bad experience. Called in several times to either be hung up on or promised a call back but the untrustworthy Indian man behind the phone lied to my face. Switched over to brightspeed and has had an amazing experience with no hickups

.....Metronet of Evansville/Huntington ,Indiana is a disgrace!
...The owner of the slimy internet company is "Mike Cinelli", who does a bait and switch scam.........lowers internet speed than demands more money .......I would say this is extortion!
....Metronet employees harass and extort money from customers everyday!.......So please use a different internet company.
...Metronet of Huntington,Indiana has removed all customers negative google reviews many times...including my negative google review at least 15 times!
