Unfortunately the roll of 36” wide was about 1/4 of an inch too short
Even though my screen area measured 36” including the “cap” area.
Unable to use it and I’ve cut 2 sections of 6’.5”. The first application looked like it was going to work but it kept coming loose.
4ft would have been too much waste. 37” would have worked. Gives wiggle room.

Screen unit came out perfect dimensions. Framing matches my original. All pull tabs and set springs per original. Amazing! Will be using them again!

The specific questions when placing the order were very good, as is the quality of the items. I took a star off because I had to answer questions thru email, the information was already provided on the original form.

Fit really well and frame was sturdy. I'll be buying all my future screens from them. Very happy with purchase.

Their products may be good, but their order form is seriously deficient. I ordered "Complete Window Screens," which by definition of Complete would include the narrow frame surrounding the screen material. But then they have a line for "Height Measurement (fraction)" and "Width Measurement (fraction)." My dimensions for the Complete screen were 28 x 34 inches. So for the fraction I put in 3/4 inch (for the narrow frame width). When the screens arrived they were 24-5/8 x 34-5/8, so of course they didn't fit. There were NO instructions pertaining to the "fractions." Nor was there a line to confirm the final "complete" size. When I contacted Metro they said I did not need to send them back,
but they would send a new correct-size set and I pay shipping ($39.90). Fair enough. But the new ones arrived in a damaged state, with extremely poor, falling-apart packaging. My son took 4 or 5 photos, which I sent to Metro, with the message that I wanted a refund on the order. Today I received their response that I would not get a refund on the order, but they would refund the $39.90 shipping.
So I'm stuck with 10 screens (five each shipment) I can't use, and a couple hundred dollars in Metro's pockets. I even sent them a revised order form that would eliminate confusion about the fraction measurement, because they do indeed need to revise it. I would suggest that anyone using their order form call Metro to confirm your order verbally. In my book a "Complete Window Screen" includes the screen material and anything surrounding it (like a narrow frame). So be forewarned: Confirm measurements before you buy.

The screen shipped quickly and was great quality.

I ordered a custom screen for a small window that is over 25 years old. Within a short time, I received a high quality screen that fit perfectly. The price was great and I was so impressed with the way it was shipped. Carefully packed so as not to damage the screen. From start to finish I was so very please. I even called to tell them what quality work they do!

Metro went the extra mile to make sure I recieved the screens I ordered!

ordering and shipping was easy. The product is a good idea but it is not as easy to install as it could be. Holes in the side tracks are hard to see through the weatherstripping. Also, the retractor mechanism is temperamental. One screen would not retract until I shimmed against one side of the roller. Finally, the latch arrangement is a nice idea, but one out of the two I got only wants to catch about half of the time. Maybe I can adjust it somehow.
