MGMTimber Avis

Used MGM Timber in Hamilton. Drive in then you get an invoice from the office. Take it out ,give it to one of the yard workers. They load you up . That’s it . Away you go. Simple 10/10 with my experience

Great service from office to collection

Purchased a forest garden shed 4life pent shed via MGM timber and after built found it's not water resistant. The advert on the forest garden web site goes into great detail on the 25 year anti rot guarantee and that preservative treatment is never required. It is not clear in the advert that waterproofing is required and on an annual basis. If I'd known regular painting was required I wouldn't have purchased. Don't buy unless you want to waterproof yourself

Thanks MGM- your staff couldn’t be more helpful at Clydebank 5 ⭐️! However……the garden gate I ordered was not what I was expecting ( looked SO good in the photograph ) in terms of quality.
The gate is very very thin wood and not entirely sure if it has been treated all over or just sprayed unevenly? I’m not entirely sure how long it will last….my old gate was 25years old!!
I had organised a joiner to put this up so felt I had no other choice. The delivery was excellent with tracking provided but the gate…….I’m extremly disappointed.

Ease of use website, good communication from local store regarding my delivery day, courteous delivery driver, no issues.

Delivered on time. Good selection of timber. No damages.
All good

Excellent product and great delivery service.

Great staff very helpful and good products

Easy and quick online ordering with excellent communication keeping you up to date on the orders progress.

Exceptional service! I’ve placed an order twice in the last 6 weeks and on both occasions I have been contacted promptly to discuss delivery arrangements. Kim was fantastic! Very friendly and customer focused. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great service from the store, easy to use website and excellent delivery service. Great value too.

Fence posts are good and the staff were helpful. That's good enough for me.

Not the most experienced DIY person but never made to feel daft when I buy timber from MGM. Unlike a few other places I simply don't use anymore.

I ordered a shed base, ordering online was easy, I was kept updated with the process of my order and with the delivery date. The delivery was on time and the gentleman was lovely, he was very polite and asked where I wanted the base put. I would definitely ordered from here again

My order was followed up the next day by a call from Andy. I asked Andy if it was ok to bring a car and trailer into the yard to pick up my order, he assured me that would be fine, there is plenty of room to turn. Arrived that morning and met Andy at the desk. He processed my paperwork (very pleasant and helpful) and the yard boys loaded my wood. What more could I ask for?
