It was such a beautiful experience and I'll be back as much as I possibly can be. Thank you for your presence, instruction and for holding space in such a beautiful way for us. I joined one of Michaela’s underwater meditation sessions. It was an absolutely beautiful experience and I was left feeling so peaceful, yet energised. Highly recommend trying something like it
A must do event! If you get the opportunity you should definitely try to make one of these sessions. Michaela is a highly experienced free diver and breath hold practitioner. We started with some useful context to connection and relaxation in the water as well as some warm up exercises. Then a must listen explanation on safety and what to do and not do re breath holds. Once in the water we were paired up and given clear instructions on the 4 breath holds we would do. Michaela was on hand to help keep us relaxed. The session left me very relaxed and I learnt something new to take to my next pool session.
We also got to see Michaela, a Guinness World Record holder, in action showing us how to perform a flawless 75m underwater breaststroke aka dynamic no fins. A great community event and appropriate for freedivers and complete beginners held in a nice warm pool!
Michaela was a great facilitator and extremely knowledgable.
Michala is not only an outstanding athlete, but her services and workshops—both in-person and online—are incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully structured. She truly thinks of every detail. Her personal approach takes the whole program to another level and makes her training experience something I’ve never encountered anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Freediving and Meditation Training
I recently attended one of Michaela Werner’s classes in the Newcastle area, and it was a truly transformative experience. More than just a two-hour session of yoga, meditation, and apnea training, it was a deep dive into self-awareness. Working through the breath-holding exercises in the water allowed me to quiet the noise and reconnect with what truly matters.
Michaela is an exceptional trainer—dedicated, friendly, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping every student get the most out of the experience. I walked away not only with a reinforced passion for freediving but with a much deeper appreciation for the discipline itself.
I’m already looking into other courses and experiences she offers for the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking growth both under and above the water!

I would highly recommend Michaela's underwater meditation to just about anyone, it was a very calming and grounding experience and as an individual who often focuses on results and numbers etc and can be quite goal orientated, it was an extremely refreshing experience to follow Michaela's process and focus more on the experience itself.

A well structured and highly professional online course that captures everything about DNF and helps you to define and structure your own training. I started the NO Fins No Worries course 2 months ago. It is a very comprehensive course covering all the aspects of how to train for No Fins. I made a quick review of each of the sections as an overview of the whole course. I then went back to the beginning and worked my way through. However, I was particularly interested in the dry training exercises for strength and stretching. Michaela provided a range of exercises from which you can develop your own programs. I also appreciated the pool training schedules for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers. From these you can then adapt them as you gain more experience. Michaela also lays out the pathway to competition in a freediving periodism program over 5 months which is very useful. Michaela shows a great interest in you as a person, which shows through in the regular meet ups, online, when you can ask any questions that are important to you. Michaela is a real ambassador for freediving through her competitions and promotion of freediving in the community. I highly recommend this course to anyone who want to improve their no fins freediving.
The underwater meditation was a great experience and I will definitely do more of it. Michaela provided clear instructions and guidance and left us enough room to experience it our own way. I was in a dream state all day after doing it. Thanks Michaela!
NoFins-NoWorries what an awesome all-embracing combination of topics.
From working on the basics, building more strength, mobility & CO2 tolerances with different
ideas and technics - following with weekly pool exercises/homework to work on, all very much detailed explained
and filmed - till the work on the perfect glide, stroke and kick all worked perfectly for my training and results.
Even I have worked for years on single topics, these combination of weekly course+targets+meetings pushed me much more forward.
And still after these 12-modules course, I can find topics to work on, because the course structure is clear and easy to handle.
I loved also to find an incredible world wide community to talk and discuss ideas and topics.

I had the most profound experience underwater with Michaela’s training. She explains every step with such warmth and heart connection — you can truly feel how passionate she is about the breath. I’m looking forward to exploring more under her gentle and inspiring guidance.
Just wrapped up the DNF No Fins No Worries course—a 3-month journey that turned out to be incredibly valuable, even though I came in with a solid foundation.
The course No Fins No Worries was well structured, offered some theory, practice, valuable tips for DNF training, but also for the dry trainings. The most important is that it favours self guided freediving journey and gives the tools to use, not the exact plan. It corresponds a lot with my approach.
It gave me fresh perspectives:
- Diving without a noseclip
- Diving without a wetsuit
- Feeling the water more deeply
- Being more mindful and focused during dives
Dry training, stretching, and mobility now feel more purposeful. And the regular meetups? A goldmine of shared experiences, challenges, and growth.
Thanks for this great course Michaela , It’s perfect starting point for DNF beginners, but I found it also very valuable for freedivers who know what to do with their DNF, but need some structure and tools.
