Midsummer Herbs was the only place I could find some very heritage vegetable plants. I had to wait till they were in season, but they arrived well packed and healthy.

For the time of year when some herb plants were obviously in dormancy this was clearly labelled, and they were all well packed in peat and individual bags. Appear to be well established plants with clear labels.

Hi Robyn, thanks for writing a great review. Packaging the plants is something I am always wanting to do correctly and I am glad that you are happy with how they were packed. Glad to hear that the plants are growing well for you. I send them bare rooted so that I can grow them in larger pots so their root systems can develop well before they are sent. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Regards, Christina

Perfect again
In my latest delivery were included two Jiaogulan plants. This curcubit is typical of the family, with young vines being quite fragile and tender. I was impressed that they arrived in such good condition. I always choose the express post option, seems crazy not to spend the extra few dollars because two extra days (or more) in a hot shed or van via standard post can make all the difference.

Hi Tom, Thanks for taking the time to leave a great review. Glad that your plants arrived safe and well. It really is well worth paying the extra $5 for express post, especially during the hotter months.
Fresh as a Daisy
OK, I got no daisies, but the Yerba mansa, boneset and sheep sorrel I ordered arrived in such perfect condition that i did a little happy dance. Extremely well packed, excellent growing medium around healthy roots. Once potted on they were reaching for the sky within minutes. Couldn't be happier, thanks, you'll be seeing me again.
