DANGEROUS PRODUCT - Blanket burnt through & ZERO customer support

I am writing this to warn others. I purchased a MiHigh Infrared Sauna Blanket only 4 months ago, and it has already burnt through the interior lining. This is a massive safety hazard and could have easily caused a fire or serious injury.
I have reached out to their support team via email to claim my warranty, but I have received no response. For a premium-priced product to fail this dangerously in such a short time is unacceptable, but the lack of communication regarding a safety defect is even worse.
I expect a member of the MiHigh team to contact me immediately to resolve this with a full refund.

If you really want one, buy from Amazon

Still waiting for customer service to get back to me about returning the experience kit. Wish I'd bought it from Amazon so it could be returned immediately if there was a problem, plus it looks cheaper on there. It's as if they're waiting out the time that a return can be done so they can say "oh well, you're stuck with it, and have wasted £50 on a product you won't use and don't want". The sauna blanket itself is ok, but hasn't really made any positive improvements in my health yet. I have fibromyalgia, which is why I bought it, on recommendation from a friend who said to get the experience kit, which is a polyester towel-like material sleeping bag liner, basically, plus an empty branded squirm bottle and some microfiber towels. If I'd know the thing was polyester and the bottle was empty, I wouldn't have bothered, especially for the price. Furthermore, if I'd known their customer service didn't have a direct contact number and wouldn't respond to emails at all, I wouldn't have used this company at all. I'm hoping the actual sauna blanket continues to function, because if it's this hard to do a return on the daft extra, I can only imagine that even within a year, they wouldn't refund this, especially as they don't either know how to or have the capacity to communicate when things go wrong.

Horrible customer service and useless product

The sauna blanket looks made from quality material. It doesn’t work, however, no warmer than a standard heated blanket even on max temperature, with only parts of the blanket heating up. Customer service is useless: 2 weeks to respond with a standard email and no suggestion of a solution 3 weeks in. This seems to be a common issue reading other reviews and, clearly, they don’t care.
Do not buy, you will be left with useless blanket and your only option is to claim a refund via your credit card company.

Defective products no refund

I have still not received a refund for the faulty sauna blanket I blight from MiHigh through Clearpay. There was another review detailing exactly what happened to me, but it’s been removed and I see that MiHigh is no longer listed on Clearpay either. But, at the time of my complaint to Clearpay, who refused to refund me over £200 because they can get away with it being not yet regulated by the Ombudsman, MiHigh was still listed and remained listed after my complaint. The scam is this: sauna blankets are defective. They break after a couple uses, after the exchange period and after the Clearpay refund period. So you’re left with getting a replacement or refund under the 12 month retailer warranty. BUT, if you pay through Clearpay, neither company refunds you because at the moment you don’t have protection by your bank under the consumer rights act. BUT, Clearpay will be regulated soon and historic complaints will be dealt with so it is possible to get your money back, it’s just a long fight, struggle and wait. Save yourselves the drama and do not purchase from this company or use Clearpay.

Shockingly bad customer service

Shockingly bad customer service. I have a faulty product under warrantee. It was acknowledged and I was told a replacement will be sent but no contact since and I have not been able to confirm when it will be sent after several messages on several platforms even.

Bought a Mihigh infrared sauna blanket…

Bought a Mihigh infrared sauna blanket a few months ago. It has since stopped heating entirely, rendering it a very expensive piece of fabric.
I contacted their customer service team twice by email: once in January, once in February. No response on either occasion. Not an acknowledgement, not an automated reply, nothing.
I then visited their Instagram page, only to discover that customer comments on their posts have been disabled. It is now abundantly clear why.
As a result, I have raised a chargeback with my bank and am looking into my options under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles me to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are not fit for purpose. If Mihigh continue to ignore customers, they should expect to hear from them via other routes.
A company that sells premium-priced wellness products and then goes completely silent when those products fail is not a company worth trusting with your money. Avoid.

Do not buy from this company!

Awful product and worse customer service! This product does not even get hot enough to sweat - on the highest heat setting! I’ve tried contacting customer services to get my money back and no response! I am now out of pocket! Do not buy from this company!

A disaster

I ordered this blanket for a friend, it started with delivery (by Yodel) they delivered to another place without letting her know, luckily the person went out of his way to find my friend as there was no notice where it was delivered to.
My friend who has massive joint problems was quite eager to use the blanket, however the blanket does not switch on or heat up, emailed customer support as apparently it is a "Risk Free Trial" but there is no response, despite getting an automated email that they would get back within 3 days.
Luckily I paid with a credit card and will inform my card provider that I received a defective product and do a charge back!

I would recommend that people use another product

So I ordered the sauna with the wrong debit card as soon as I did I contacted them through email to send my money back I wanted to use a different pay option they responded it will take 3 days to respond I waited they never did. The next thing I no I received an email that they sent the package and it arrived, only to get home and receive nothing so now I’m out of 176,00 I have no package I tried to contact them but there not responding going to contact the better business bureau and keep leaving negative comments until they do return my money now I don’t even want to try there products. I want my money back

Don’t waste your time or money,

Bought their Sauna blanket Oct 23. Didn’t use it regularly enough during the cooling off period but when I finally did, it was not performing as well as I thought it should. The temperature would fluctuate wildly and some times I would barely break a sweat. I had several exchanges until they agreed to replace it but I’d read reviews of people returning them and not getting their refund, I made the stupid decision to live with it, but barely used it.
Fast forward to 2025, I used it regularly and it was ok until the weather cooled, then it would barely heat up. Then the £300 blanket stops working, electrical fault, it’s out of warranty and Mihigh, tell me they can’t replace, repair it and can’t offer me a refund because it was ordered through clear pay.
The price of their blankets have plummeted, because theres a good reason, they’re rubbish, don’t waste your time and money with them.

"Risk free trial" is a scam.

Purchased a sauna blanket based on the stated "30 day risk free trial."

Well, the blanket sucks--I barely was sweating even at the highest setting--and it's generally uncomfortable.

I sent a polite return request email per their policy--well within the 30 days--and it's been completely ignored. (I did get an automatic response saying someone would be in touch, but no actual person has replied and I have no return instructions, address, or approval for the return).

Of course, there is no customer service number to call.

I sent a few follow up emails after waiting for a reply. No response.

I chatted with the A.I. bot on their website and it said I should send an email (which I'd already done), and further mentioned a 15% restocking fee and that I'd be responsible for return shipping. None of this was stated originally, nor is it consistent with a "30 day RISK FREE TRIAL."

"Risk free" means you have nothing to lose. THat's what 'risk free' means. If you have to pay return shipping and a 15% restocking fee, that's not "risk free." Those policies are ok, but they should be clearly stated on their website and they need to remove the "risk free" language, as it is intentionally misleading.

Their return policy is different in different areas of their website: One (under "30 day risk free trial" in their terms & conditions) says the company covers return shipping and that we will get a FULL refund if we return w/i 30 days of receipt.

The other (under "refund policy") asserts a 15% restocking fee and that the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

So their legal language is inconsistent on their own site.

Not that I'm even getting a response anyway. Without a response, I can't return the blanket at all bc the return needs to be approved via email, and I need to be provided with a return address and ideally a return label as per the broadly advertised 'risk free trial.'

(BTW I mentioned the discrepancy to the chatbot and it, of course, said "I'm sorry, I can't help you with that." )

Further, I noticed that there is absolutely no way to review the product, which means I have literally no recourse AND suggests that most of the "five star reviews" the company touts are probably either fake or cherry picked out of the negative ones. Even on social media, they turn off their comments (so shady). So they get to continue scamming people and there's no way (other than sites like this) to warn potential customers that this is a 'take your money and run' situation.

This, folks, is late stage capitalism at its finest.

Fake, unclear, and inconsistent policies.
Promises of a "no questions asked," "risk free" return option--right there on their home page--that is meaningless and was ignored once they had my money.

Fake customer service i.e. nonexistent customer service.
Take your money, tell you you can send it back if you don't like, it, and totally ignore you when you ask to do exactly that.

I could not regret this purchase more, and it makes me feel ill that companies like this stay in business.

Never worked

I got a blanket and it never worked ! I have emailed twice now and filled in that silly form on the site and they are just ignoring me ! Such a shame as they aren’t cheap to purchase.

Very poor quality item

Very poor quality item. Had to have two replacements and all three broke shortly after. Second one burnt a hole in my sofa and no response from the company. I would avoid
