A very detailed and interesting CPD…
A very detailed and interesting CPD session arranged by Milk Acadmey which was not only up to date with current issues but was also free! The lady who delivered the session was professional, very knowledgeable and easy to speak to. I would recommend, if you have the opportunity to get involved in future courses do...I know I will be!

Excellent training
It was my second time taking part in the Mental Health and Wellbeing training and I've got to say the training provided by Christine was excellent! The training entailed various strategies that I will be using in my daily life. Thank you Milk Academy for a fantastic opportunity 😊

Youth Mental Health Awareness Half Day
Was interesting to find out about different types of mental health that I can occur with young people and how to spot signs. I particularly enjoyed the youtube videos to help explain concepts. I think to improve I'd prefer more strategies and resources for dealing with our own mental health as teachers as well as the students.

Thank you so much for providing this feedback for us, Leonisha - and for attending our Youth Mental Health Aware training! The session that you attended was a Mental Health First Aid England Accredited course focused specifically around the Mental Health of Young People, so it does not cover the subjects that you have mentioned here.
Fortunately, we do offer another course that is specifically about Mental Health and Resilience for Teachers that you may find valuable. It focuses on strategies and resources that will help you to manage your own personal mental health as an educator. If that's something that might interest you, please get in touch with Nicola - she will help to get you booked onto our next available session.
With this in mind - was there anything else about our service that you did not find satisfactory? We are new training providers and are doing our best to provide a five-star experience to all of our attendees. As we are just starting out, we are doing our utmost to build a positive online reputation in order to attract new attendees and to improve the quality of life for pupils in our schools through teacher enrichment sessions that truly add value.
If you have some time to provide further feedback on the course you attended and the service you have received from the Milk Academy so far, we would love it if you could amend your review to reflect your experience with us and help us to improve our offering for future courses.

Mental Health Awareness Course
I recently did a Mental Health Awareness course with MILK via Zoom. The tutor was great and there was alot of information contained in the half day course. Easy to access and understand.

Great Youth Mental Health CPD Session
This was a really informative and helpful session about youth mental health. This was the ‘aware’ course and it was a great insight into specific characteristics of various mental health issues as well as signs to be aware of and look out for that may indicate mental ill-health.
Christine signposted lots of websites which have specialised information for various mental health issues such as eating disorders or depression. She also shared many ways of finding support for our own mental health.
After attending this session I feel much more aware of the various mental health issues that children in my class could be facing.
It was a 4 hour zoom call and originally I thought I was going to struggle to maintain focus and concentration throughout that time but Christine was really engaging and we used break out rooms to have smaller group discussions. The session was also structured well and I was engaged throughout. It’s also important to note that Christine was very helpful and accommodating for those on the course who were having technical issues.
We are also going to receive a really helpful handbook with even more extensive information which I know will be really useful to refer back to.
I’m very grateful that I was able to attend this course for an amazing price which I would 100% recommend and I am looking forward to attending more CPD sessions with Milk Academy.
