The last few orders I’ve had to chase dispatch after nothing has happened for around six days - I always get the same response of an unusually high volume of orders & lack of staff, perhaps it’s time to hire some more help.
Either way I’ve been sourcing stuff elsewhere as it’s just not worth the wait & extra hassle of having to chase up every order

The most frustrating online experience.
They have the most amazing stock but the chances of me placing an order and receiving what I actually ordered in a reasonable time or getting a correct refund takes so long that I’ve finally given up shopping with them. Not even the latest pattern sale will be tempting me. The company doesn’t seem to be listening to their customers. Such a shame.

Site itself is slow but has some very good fabrics and a massive range, however, over the years I've spent many hundreds of pounds, and had an extensive wish list saved for fabrics I want and twice they have lost all my info and all order history, first time a couple year ago was annoying as I ended up ordering duplicate fabric as i had no history.
Second time last year I even sent them a years order numbers asking if they could put them back onto my account and they said they couldn't.
So all the time and money spent over the last 5 years, the site says ive placed no orders and have no saved items. Won't ever purchase from the site again, something is not right when they keep wiping the account and saying I'm a new customer.

Edit: As per response, I have contacted Minerva multiple times, end result is sorry nothing they can do I need to start again with no order history or loyalty.

This is my third time ordering from Minerva, and on two occasions, I’ve had to chase my order due to a lack of updates beyond the confirmation email. After emailing, I was told the order would be dispatched and received an apology for the delay, but six days had already passed since placing the order, which doesn’t reflect well from a customer’s perspective.

Now, with my third order, 3–4 days have passed, and once again, I’ve had to follow up. This isn’t a great experience. If you’re unable to meet your stated dispatch times, I feel the website should be updated accordingly, or customers should be informed of delays.

I really like the quality of the products and the great prices, but unfortunately, the service is lacking.

I’ve shopped with Minerva multiple times. No issues with quality and they have an excellent range but the delivery times are very frustrating! It’s been very slow in the past and then it got better but now it’s back to extremely slow. I’ve tried chasing my order by email but no response. They always have the excuse that “we’re very busy” but that’s something they need to sort out. It’s not really a valid excuse if they keep saying it.

Excellent quality at very competative prices. Many helpful youtube videos on fabric, sewing techniques etc. My only problem with Minerva is the delivery time. I will use Minerva again but, if I want something in a hurry, I'll order from somewhere else

I recieved some stretch fabric from Minerva, it was beautiful quality, but the selvedges were different lengths, and so it was tricky to find the grain of the fabric. I phoned Minerva and they sent me new fabric and a return label so that they could examine the original fabric. I could continue with my sewing within days of talking to them. Well done customer service. Brilliant response.

I ordered several items a week ago. Today just one out of my many items was delivered with no word on dispatch or tracking of any other items. Will not be using again! I'll be initiating a chargeback on my credit card if needed...

A faulty pattern has held up my time important project so was advised to reorder a new one costing me another £21.99 then request a refund for faulty pattern.
This I duly did but discovered today that despite me reordering on Thursday they still haven't despatched the paid for item on Monday.
Also no sign of refund.
I'm very disappointed now.

Minerva had exactly what I needed to make a shirt. I bought the Minerva exclusive fabric which is very good quality, buttons and zips. Their staff were very helpful when I had a query about my order.

The delivery was very fast. I will certainly be purchasing from them again in the near future.

Minerva core range and Exclusive fabrics are fabulous and such great quality. The service is fantastic, dispatch very quick, and the staff are very helpful and deal with any issues, should they occasionally arise, promptly and professionally. The Craft Club membership is well worth the very reasonable cost, too. I can thoroughly recommend Minerva.

I had been looking for ages for a particular width of ribbon for my Christmas project and came across Minerva. The variety to choose from was brilliant and I ended up feeling even more inspired for this year's Christmas crafts, and bought more things than what I first planned.

The quality is amazing, the staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and fast dispatch times! The website is also great to become part of a sewing community online with lots of inspiration and helpful tips!

Minerva fabrics is a fantastic online store, great service. I recently went to their end of roll sale, it was amazing. The choice of fabrics was incredible. I also found out that it’s a family run business which I think is great. I found the staff very helpful.
