Highly recommended! A lot of information available, for many different situations, with studies to back it up. Well explained and allows to understand the "why". I understand my dogs better now and can adapt better to them, to provide what they need. Focused on long-term results and dogs well-being. I usually have difficulties to find appropriate information for my rescue dogs, and MK9Plus delivers it.

I've been through 3 different dog trainers now, and have spent loads of time trying to educate myself on dog training. This site is the best resource I have found. Max comes across as very genuine and seems to really just want to help people become better dog owners. The credibility of the information on the website comes across via resources Max links in the videos and also the fact that so many things that stated align perfectly with my dogs.

I had been following MK9Plus on social media for a little while when our puppy arrived. The information and advice were so invaluable that I decided to become a member to learn as much as possible and to support Max's great work. A worthwhile investment on helping our beautiful border live a happy life! 🥰🐾🐾

There is so much to learn that I sometimes feel a bit sick BUT Max’s videos break it all down into short lessons, under headings/in sections & easy to search for specific topics. I’m still far from where I want to be with my 2 spaniels but making progress all the time & they are happier and healthier. One is 8 years old & has a new lease of life. One is 7 months old & this has given me the tools I need to help him through adolescence & hopefully into a long life of spaniel fun! I won’t be de-dogging my dogs! Great value for money, especially having been let down by 2 ‘trainers’ previously.

It’s been easy and yet also satisfying. It’s tricky to give a review when I know for sure there is still SO much I haven’t watched yet. The advice on where to start watching was invaluable! I love that there are series's that mean I can deep dive. And I like that I can search for something if I have a new issue.

Lots of content, very easy to understand and also funny sometimes. Like the style!

Can not recommend highly enough! We have an adolescent puppy who has also had some health issues and so has been really difficult. We started to see some positive changes with her straight away from following the advice Max gives (meeting her needs). I also really appreciated the detail he goes into as it helped me to understand the "why" behind what we were experiencing and the advice.

We have also contacted Max a few times on email and he has always replied quickly and in depth with advice specific for our pup.

I'm so glad I stumbled across mk9plus through a video on Instagram. I'm all for Max's ethos of 'don't de-dog your dog' and working with the dog's traits and characteristics. Max's videos are informative, research based, easy to listen to his down-to-earth delivery is natural. It's clear his main intention is to get the information across for the good of the dog world.
I use the app and have followed the advised pathway of the order to watch the videos, whilst also dipping in to other subject areas that have arisen.
On a couple of occasions I have sent communication to Max both via the app and email. He has responded informatively and in a timely manner, helping my puppy raising journey enormously.
I'm very appreciative that the app is there for life, one-off payment, access to a library of information, done.

It’s fantastic having so much information at your fingertips to make sure you’re doing the best for your dog and it’s all really simple stuff that makes so much sense. Max busts some damaging myths and I like that he posts links to the scientific evidence to back up what he says

I thoroughly enjoy his way of presenting the information. Informative, funny and accurate. He has joined the dots and added some more on what is a comprehensive presentation. Not for everybody but for dog owners who are serious about doing what's best for their dog(s)he is excellent.

I did not recieve an email back to my query, I dont want to take advice from other dog owners I can do that on a blog ect for FREE not £250. A waste of money,shame..it all seemed quite genuine.

Max is very knowledgeable. The app is extremely thorough and well presented. I love the approach and I’m learning a lot.

Short review: The whole experience has been transformational for our dog and ourselves. Max has an unbelievable knowledge and understanding of dogs and their breed specific needs. However, what we have loved most is he puts the dogs mental health and wellbeing first. I know from experience that this is what has made the difference for our gorgeous, extremely enthusiastic pooch.

Longer review: We adopted a Podenco mix in September 2024, not realising the breed or needs. My goodness he was full on and hard work. Destroyed everything, including turning our garden into a maze of holes and trenches. I kept seeing Max on social media, but to be fair was getting frustrated with the number of people telling me they knew best, so against my instincts turned to what I assumed was a more professional and veterinary approved approach. This turned my dog nuts, as they were not thinking about his needs as a breed, just how to control him. In desperation I signed up for the second time to Max's online seminar and immediately began to feel this was the right approach for our dog. It's been hard work and takes time, we are still on the early part of our journey. We have had major wobbles but could email Max directly which was so helpful. After believing we would never be able to let our dog safely off lead, we are now walking up to 3 hours daily, with him exploring the environment freely. From not sleeping and being super destructive, we have a gorgeous settled boy who sleeps up to 20 hours a day. It's like living with a teenager, but no moods 😂 Thank you Max you deserve success 🐕

I am really enjoying and benefiting from MK9 Plus training so far. I am working my way through the many clear, simple and encouraging videos and Max’s philosophy really makes sense to me. My 18 month old lab has various challenges but we are getting there. Looking forward to learning more. Lou

MK9+ has completely changed our understanding of how to truly fulfil the needs of our rescue Kelpie x Staffy, Waia. When Waia first arrived from the pound, she was anxious, barely slept, and was chronically stressed - barking at the smallest sound, pacing and following us around the house, and occasionally nipping at strangers.

Before MK9+, we worked with a “balanced” trainer who relied on dominance techniques and force-driven corrections. This didn’t solve any of our issues and, in hindsight, it damaged our relationship with Waia. Thankfully, we ditched that approach pretty quickly. We then leaned heavily on free content from social media, which was often overwhelming, contradictory, and honestly quite misleading.

Alas! We found Max, and immediately began deep-diving into his content. It was soooooo refreshing to find a trainer with such an up-to-date approach, genuinely backed by science and evidence. We’re so happy to have ditched the slip leashes, martingale collar, and alpha approach (which was never really us anyway).

After rinsing Max’s videos, our girl is now sleeping all day, her arousal levels are far lower, and we’ve introduced herding-style enrichment, flirt pole games, tug and all that good good stuff. As I type this, Waia is passed out like a little shrimp on the couch - builders next door, no barking at all. It's clear she feels she can finally relax. Friends can finally now come over and enjoy her sweet company without fear of her little puppy teeth on their skin.

She’s a happier, more fulfilled dog, and she loves being close to us because we treat her with respect, love, compassion, and positivity (and treats). Her recall is improving thanks to Max’s 2+ hour webinar, which my partner and I listened to on the drive to our "wild enrichment" spot in Melbourne. If you're a doggo lover or need help understanding your rescue pup, this is absolutely the best $ you'll spend. Thanks Max, keep up the amazing work! Inspiring stuff. :)
