Landline issues for months but…

My mum has had such untrusting customer service from some of the people she’s been on the phone with from More Telecom…for months we’ve had issues with our landline and no one has been able to fix it - until a wonderful woman Abigail listened to her needs and made sure that we were able to fix it together instead of reassuring us that everything was going to be fixed & then never gets back to us. But Abigail fixed the issues and was able to get the landline back up and running. Wish we could’ve gotten more info because she was a heaven send! Thank you Abigail.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and no flexibility. Things always take a long time to set up and exit. Nightmare when trying to switch. Beware that if you proceed to use, you will lose out when trying to exit as there will be a bit of a delay when trying to change providers and most people can not realistically have a gap without service. There is no prorata when cancelling (trying to switch away) from either, so even if you are one minute into a new month by the time everything is processed with cancelling and starting with a new provider you will still pay the full future month forward regardless. P.S. There are also delays with their online portal responses to ensure you pay more than necessary.

Serious issues with More Telecom…

I have had problems with More Telecom now going on 8 weeks & issues still not resolved. I have lodged a complaint with the Telecommunication Obudsman. Hoping that service can sort out the issues. Technical support , sales & complaints were generally unhelpful.

I would advise people to steer clear of More Telecom.

Very impressed

Very impressed, fast net consistently all hours of day and night and never cuts out and price is cheap. Drama queens here probably just didn't set it up properly or can't fix minor connection errors.

More’s Bad Business Model

Both my partner & I who live separately signed up to More for our internet at the same time. The modem they supplied was $110 which retails for $40 but both my partner’s internet & mine had streaming issues that started almost 6 months exactly into the subscription. Internet speeds tested ok & streaming got so bad it was impossible to watch a movie. Realised the trick was so you would upgrade your internet subscription & PROVED BEYOND DOUBT by switching to Belong & guess what - NO MORE STREAMING ISSUES. More are disgraceful in their business model, suck people in for a good deal that works well initially & then they try to bend you over.
Bad luck More….. you just lost another 2 customers

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! I switched from a slower plan with Optus but have had nothing but issues since. I swapped due to the great pricing offered through CBA but wish I'd just spent the extra. Regularly lose connection to the point where I can no longer WFH (never an issue previously) and absolutely no chance of getting customer support. When it does work the speeds are fine but definitely not worth the risk.

Never buy their mobile plans

Never buy their mobile plans. They use Telstra's wholesale network and it's damn slow. It never works if you are under a roof, sometimes it won't even work under open sky. It's a scam.

More moved their whole sale NBN network to Aussie Broadband and the internet has not been working since. More should have arranged more technical support staff to assist customers with this migration but seems like all big corporations their bottom line/profit is more important than customer service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
The customer service, like others have said, is terrible beyond words.
They made a mistake in the spelling of my partner's surname when he signed up, and he called to fix it the next day and they said the issue has been raised with IT and we need to wait 24hrs. We waited 24hrs 4 times, four different calls, each time it was like the issue had never been documented and we had to wait 24hrs for IT again. They had no direct connection with IT to fix the issue on the spot and on top of that, flat out lied 4 times about the wait time
Without them fixing he spellling of his name, we couldnt set up the internet
So we ended up cancelling
Ive never experienced this before with any customer service team.
Please do not get More NBN

All easy and efficient

I was slightly concerned about signing up, given the reviews on this site. However, I went ahead as I saw that the reviews for other telcos were just as bad! The signup was easy and within 15 minutes I was connected, including adding my Apple Watch. So far it's been extremely easy and I'm presuming coverage will be good given that it's with Telstra.

More Telecom Mgrs don't understand basic Service Management

Where do you start? There is no service management!
NBN service was ok, no complaint BUT....
'More' communicated that they were migrating their backend and it wouldn't impact their service, guess what, it did.
How come they can SMS their customers regarding the migration but they can't SMS the 17,000 customers impacted that they'd then messed up, or what they were doing, or when services may be restored.
More service management left 17,000 impacted customer to each wait on the phone to talk to service desk, to be advised there was an issue and 2nd level were investigating but no further information.
Two days without NBN service and More have still to provide any kind of unsolicited update. I've had to engage with them +10times to be advised 'More' are unable to provide any service/update.
Who is managing changes at More, obviously no planning, obviously no governance of management either.

I ordered nbn fttp service for more and got an appointment on 1st may 2026 friday morning. I contacted more customer service everyday. Today when i contacted to more customer service, they said nbn installation date is cancelled by nbn technician team. I said why did not notify me and i do not have internet for one week. They only say sorry. They can not provide me for internet. They can not tell me how long will take for schduled date. So i strongly give a one star negative feedback and i recommend to use another service provider . more is not reliable, worst customer service and can not rely on doing you store shop or business with them.

Unusable service and poor technical support - BAD Support

I had a very poor experience with More Telecom.

From 16/04, my internet had a major issue where basic browsing worked but login/secure sites (Google, Wikipedia, apps) failed. This made the service unusable.

I tested everything, including connecting directly to the NBN (no router), and the issue still persisted. This clearly pointed to a network problem on their side.

Support was unable to resolve the issue and lacked proper technical troubleshooting. After days of no resolution, I switched to another provider and everything worked immediately.

Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

The nbn service was not reliable

The nbn service was not reliable. We suffered regular dropouts on Streaming services. Zoom calls were risky.
My mobile phone service was also poor with dropouts. In fact it dropped out numerous times when making calls regarding the poor nbn service. The CBA deal is cheap but it’s not worth the hassle. Maybe the service is better in some areas but in Adelaide it is woeful. I have swapped nbn to Aussie Broadband. The swap happened within an hour and the nbn has worked beautifully since. I think that companies like More which use other companies infrastructure and then on sell get lower quality and priority than direct customers. You get what you pay for!

Rubbish internet service and quality…

Rubbish internet service and quality ever, was told to be changed to another provider, Aussie, from More. My network never works even though their technical support. Staff kept saying shown their service has clearly activated. Nevert rung back after they said they will follow this up. They are helpful but not able to help anything, keep asking to restart modem and nbn box thousand times.

Ceased their service and join the another end up, did not change or restart modem, smooth transit and reconnect, ultra fast and response.

Thank you for giving me a chance to leave More.
