Excellent service when selling our house. Our main contact was Joe, who has excellent customer service skills and guided us through the process patiently. He went out of his way to help us with both our sale and our purchase.

I spoke to a few different estate agents back in April 2026 when I decided to sell my house. Chloe from the Mortimers Blackburn branch came out to meet me and talk me through how they would approach the sale.

What stood out to me was how personal and relatable she was. I never felt like I was just being given a sales pitch, and I came away feeling that she was genuinely the right person to trust with selling my home.

The house was listed shortly afterwards and I had multiple viewings within the first week. Around four weeks later, I'd agreed a sale!

The service from the whole team since then has been brilliant. I've dealt with Sumayya, Megan, Ethan and Joe at different points and they've always kept me updated, answered my calls and dealt with any questions or requests without any trouble.

I'm especially grateful for their patience and the effort they put in towards the end of the process. When things needed a push to get the sale over the line, they were actively chasing solicitors, speaking to my buyers and doing what they could to keep everything moving. That made a massive difference during what can be a pretty stressful final few weeks.

We recently used Mortimer’s to sell our house. From contacting them to enquire about putting our house up for sale to the sale completing, the service from Mortimer’s has been excellent. We were very pleased with the valuation that we received from Mortimer’s and our house was on target for price. We received several offers on our house within the first week of putting it up for sale and Mortimer’s guided us through the process smoothly. After accepting an offer we were assigned Vendor Case Handlers who were Veda and Sam. This meant that we were kept in the loop for where we were up to in the sale and, I felt, that they pushed the solicitors forward with the process. We received excellent communication throughout and the sale successfully completed recently. I would highly recommend Mortimer’s Estate Agents.

We are now settled into our new house and the 'experience' of moving which began in August is starting to recede into the distance. First time using Mortimer's to sell a property, they gave us a valuation way above what I was expecting and they managed to find us a buyer in no time at all, for that price. I unfortunately ran in to a LOT of issues with solicitors along the way, but Leaoni made sure everyone was updated, kept in touch regularly with me too, helped where possible with the issues I was facing, and was even just there for me to cry to or have a rant to when it all got too much. Considering everything that happened, plus my personal circumstances, you have no idea how much those phone calls meant.

Throughout the time it took to sell the property, from initial valuation to final closure of sale, the staff from Mortimers were unfailingly polite , professional and above all helpful.

It was not always an easy process due to factors beyond our control but Mortimers staff were always there at the end of the phone line or email to give valuable support and advice.
