By total chance I was introduced to the Mumbai Spice Club and I found the concept fascinating and simple at the same time: authentic Indian cooking from well-sourced ingredients.
The concept of a s/s spice tin was new to me. When my Masala Dabba was opening for the first time, I knew my love of the smells of fresh ground coffee was balanced by the spice aromas that filled the kitchen.
The only argument in the family was how to boil plain basmati rice.
The rest just fell into place.
I bought the all stainless steel maslaa dabba as I felt it was going to get a lot of use.

I was introduced to Mumbai spice from a close friend the spices were a present to.my son-inlaw who loves to cook especially spicey food.
I ordered the spices on line great pictures to see exactly the item.you were choosing great choice of spices I had a personal phone call to apologise if there was any delay in receiving the spices due to covid which I was very impressed with when the spices arrived the packaging was excellent no damage and presentation was really lovely all wrapped up in tissue the quality of spices and the tins you keep the spices in were very good quality

Every recipe I try is simple to follow,the blend of spices works very well giving an authentic feel to the meals.Really enjoyed the chicken and lamb curries as i expected but tried a fish curry for the first time...this didn't disappoint and I will be trying again very soon

THIS IS IT! I have been looking for spices that contain real PUNCH and this is really hard to find, unless you know the right ethnic shops. Also came in a lovely and practical tin, which reduces faff, and increases chance of not missing an essential ingredient. I have been really impressed with the depth of flavours and my Mum won't be happy about this at all, but she has real competition now. Sorry Mum...!!

If you can't cook and want to impress your mum Mumbai Spice Club is crucial. You'll leave her wondering how you managed to cook a dish that's not only edible but flavourful on a first attempt.
This package includes the best Indian recipes that are seriously easy to follow, containing key spices and best of all, it's packaged in a Thaali you can present the dish in, and or store the spices in. You can't go wrong.

The recipes are straight forward to follow and makes life very easy. Had to be careful when doubling up on proportions when cooking for 4 rather than 2, and doing the dish 24 hours before eating in my opinion took the dish to another level.

Delicious! And so pretty! Perfect gift.
