Really smooth and easy move. Excellent with keeping in touch through the application and moving process, also sorted out council tax, energy bills and rent with no issues. Always attentive and the flat was top-notch when we moved in, spotless with no issues. Would highly recommend.

Everything right from the day 1, we chose the property and till we moved into the property, Murray and Currie, guided us very clearly. Second thing we liked about them is they attended all the issues that we reported very quickly and promptly.

Everything was done efficiently. Communication was good with prompt response to any issues or queries.

Communication has been very clear and quick. There have been a few quirks to the flat which makes me question the standard Murray & Currie holds for their properties (oven without any legible settings to use properly, awful damp smell through the entire flat, no garden space to dry clothes which makes damp smell even worse in a basement flat, etc.). As a letting agent however, they have been clear and kind.

Moving in as tenant was easy and smooth . Responses to Email is quick.

We moved from overseas and in September we approached Murray and Currie for a rental apartment.
We found them exceptionally professional and helpful. Steven Livingston needs special mention as it was mainly his effort that got us a place to stay within a week of contacting the company.
Even after moving in, if there is any issue we only have to email them and everything is taken care of.
They truly are the best!!

I have had the worst experience letting with this agency. I was renting a flat of theirs with another co-tenant who turned out to be abusive and verbally violent. I complaint about him and express my interest to move out. The situation was such that I had to go to police as I felt threatened living in the flat but the agency were of absolute no help as it was a joint tenancy and I was told I couldn't move out unless both of the tenants decide to vacate the flat or the existing tenant agree to do a tenancy swap, the cotenant didn't agree to either. But the agency still didn't cooperate or paid any consideration to my situation and only cared about their rent. I was asked to pay the rent despite of not living in the flat as there were no efforts made by the cotenant or the agency to find a replacement or cotenant to find another property. I will not recommend anyone to have any dealings with them. They are absolutely non cooperative and unhelpful.

As a tenant, I have been very impressed by Murray & Currie. They are respectful, accommodating, quick to respond and resolve any issues. I am particularly grateful to Steven, who went above and beyond to arrange a change in tenancy at short notice. There are many lettings/estate agents in Edinburgh, but the professionalism and decency shown by the team at Murray & Currie really stands out. I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic service from the team whenever they are called. Examples:
- Automated viewing allocation was altered on request to a much earlier date.
- Open and accommodating, offered to adjust the move-in date unprompted.
- Comprehensive and thorough inventory.

Would advise potential clients to call in the case of apparent misinformations or misunderstandings. Our offer of an early move-in date was retracted without notice, although on calling up this was fixed completely by Becca with two quick calls 30 minutes apart.
