I was nervous about my first holiday in 6 years, involving carrying medical equipment and attending an overseas clinic. I shouldn’t have worried, Susan Freeman at Murray Travel in Inverness took over all the travel arrangements which gave us trouble-free easy journeys and a brilliant holiday. Using a travel agent is inevitably more expensive than doing everything yourself, but the benefits hugely outweigh the extra cost. We had all our paperwork dealt with, special assistance through the airports and reassuring updates when necessary. I will definitely use Murray Travel again and recommend others.

Everything was organised down to last letter. No worries for travelling, transfer and hotel accommodation - went like clockwork. Tony found us a holiday exactly what we wanted, nothing was a problem. Thank you.

It's been over 25 years since I used a travel agent to book a holiday......and I realise the mistake I've been making! Could not fault the service we received from Murray Travel and I cannot wait to book our next holiday.

We had a "window" in October and were looking for somewhere warm. Kate MacIver came up with a dozen suggestions, which we narrowed down to three!. Kate was very patient as we deliberated further and with some further input, we plumped on Turkey.

From booking the holiday, to returning to Scotland, the service throughout provided by Kate and Murray Travel was second to none! I cannot recommend them highly enough and as stated, we will be using Kate and her colleagues in the future.

Went to Singapore for F1 Grand Prix and sightseeing in September. From planning until we came home, everything was perfect. Alison at Murray Travel Elgin organised everything for us. Flights, transfers, F1 three day tickets and our lovely hotel. Lovely memories made. Would definitely recommend Alison and all the girls at Murray Travel in Elgin to organise your travel plans.

As a solo traveller, Tony was well aware of my feelings of anxiety for certain aspects of the journey and, with this in mind, I received emails at every stage, reassuring me that they ‘had my back’ should anything go wrong. All aspects of my booking were explained clearly and I was given numbers to call should it be necessary.

When my friend and I decided to go to Canada we set out to book our travel and accommodation online. As became bamboozled by the myriad of permutations we decided to seek assistance from a travel agent.

At the first company I went to I was completely ignored, so I left and went to Murray Travel where the situation could not have been more different.

A friendly receptionist linked me in with Susan Freeman who quickly got a handle on our wishes. Within a couple of days Susan emailed us with options and, via in-person and email, decisions were made.

At the last minute before everything was due to be booked, our dates had to be changed. Susan revised everything.

Our holiday was a great success, helped in no small way by the assistance from Murray Travel and Susan in particular. Her knowledge, experience and clarity was invaluable, and she also has a sense of humour! Since returning home we had a feedback meeting with Susan which continues the agent client relationship.

We shall definitely use Murray Travel again and have recommended this company to others.

Murray Travel were recommended to us by a friend. This was our first package holiday and we weren't sure where to go. Dot was so helpful from making suggestions, booking, making sure we were all checked in printing off boarding passes etc and nothing was a bother. Our holiday went without a hitch, flights and transfers were on time and no delays at all, hotel was amazing - spotlessly clean, room really comfortable, food was great couldn't fault it. We had an amazing holiday. Looking forward to booking our next one and will absolutely be booking with Murray Travel !!

Kacie, our Travel Advisor at Murray Travel Elgin went above and beyond to find appropriate accommodation and flight times for us.Both worked out perfectly. Answered any question we had. She was very Professional in the work.

Booked our summer holiday through the Inverness branch and the travel agent Kate was super to deal with! She found us a great holiday at a fantastic price. From start to finish we knew we were in good hands, and just before we went I was reminded to pick up the travel pack which was all organised and everything printed out. Our holiday hotel and package was brilliant. Couldn’t have wished for better and this is the 2nd time I have used Murray travel this last wee while. Highly recommend.

Booked our family of five Thailand trip with the expert help from Sarah at Murray Travel. We had the most amazing time in Thailand thanks to Sarah at the team at Murray travel. They are very knowledgeable and there to offer help and advice in planning our special family holiday. Sarah built our tour to suit our needs and budget and was on hand to help answer questions and offer helpful advice. We wanted to do a few tours while we were there and Sarah helped book these for us too. We had a few flights during our trip and the Team in Nairn took care of everything while we were in Thailand, checking us in prior to the flights, all flights and transfers were smooth and stress free. Thailand was amazing, the country, people and food are fabulous, our three children (ages 12-18) had the best time ever and didn't want to come home. Many special memories made as a family. Kacie could not have been more helpful when booking flights for my son and his friend. It was not a straightforward booking (I had tried myself and got confused!) but it was well handled by Kacie who took advice when needed, and made sure that all bases were covered.
