Just back from a 15 night trip across France to Corsica organised by Byway. Brilliant itinerary, great hotels and the what’s app support was so responsive. We didn’t have any problems , just needed to query. Couple of things and the Byway team responded instantly,

This was our second trip with Byway.
We enjoyed both the journey and the main destination (Nice). Great hotel locations, amazing views from the train along the coast between Marseille and Nice, and lots of other places within easy reach of Nice by public transport.

Couldn’t be happier!! Such a wonderful trip. All communication with Byway and planning was perfect. From planning the journeys in the railway app, the hotels, and the amazing places to visit we will definitely be using Byway again.

I had booked a trip through Byway, travelling solo. Everything was arranged from the train journeys to hotels - all hotels were in perfect locations, easy to get to and to get around from. This is a great company to travel with. You can personalise your trip (for example, we wanted destination suggestions that had good public gardens and Byway delivered). Having them make all the travel and accommodation arrangements removes much hassle from a holiday. Support from the team is excellent and they are very responsive. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic rail trip to Porto, via Bordeaux, San Sebastián, Madrid and Vigo, with Madrid, Barcelona and Nîmes on the return trip.
The booking online is very straightforward and we were able to add extra nights where we wanted to and choose the hotels where we wanted to stay. It all went very smoothly and was one of our best holidays ever.
Byway are an excellent company- they offer support when needed and plan great trips. We have travelled with them on multiple occasions.

We gave Byway our dates for a 2 week holiday by train to Zurich, Salzburg and Vienna and they booked us 11 train journeys which were all so enjoyable -well timed for connections and even upgraded to 1st class! We had a couple of little suggestions of changes in the original plan and Byway were very helpful and quickly changed the itinerary to suit us.
As over 70s we gained confidence using the tickets on our mobile phones and managed it all fine using their helpful step by step instructions.
Our hotels were suggested by Byway and were good and easily accessible from the train stations.
It was so good to feel confident of help if we had needed it at any time....and luckily we didn't need to phone them.

I have just returned from my second holiday booked with Byway and had the most amazing time. I was able to thoroughly enjoy each location knowing that all the practical stuff was taken care of. All I had to do was turn up on time! I'm already thinking about my next trip.

We knew where we wanted to go but were unsure how to plan it and Byway did all of that for us! They took away the frustration and aggravation of checking trains, journeys and hotels. When an issue was encountered by them they immediately found a way round it. They kept us informed every step of the way and provided useful hints and tips. Neither of us had ever used Interrail before but their instructions video was brilliant!! The hotels they chose were, in the most part, absolutely perfect! This was the first time we had been on a rail journey like this and had left us thinking where we will be going to next!!! Brilliant company!!!

Just brilliantly organised and supported. We decided some time ago not to fly anymore and this is a great alternative. This is the second time we've done a Byway train trip and both have gone really well. The bonus was that we were told after the holiday that we have saved lots of CO2 by travelling by train.

We recently took the imperial cities of Europe trip booked through byways travel, booking the trip was very easy and communication was excellent. The train journeys we took and the seat reservations made were great we had first class seats on every train and a private cabin on the sleeper train from Vienna to Amsterdam, The Accommodation was mixed, in Brussels, Berlin, Prague and Vienna the hotels were very good however the hotels in Budapest and Amsterdam were not in my opinion of the same standard for me and my partner so we booked into other hotels at our own cost and Byways did all they could by giving us a bit of compensation for this, I would advise anyone booking this type of holiday to review the choice of hotel you are allocated when you book as this can be changed and not wait until you have arrived to find it is not suitable as we did. I would thoroughly recommend Byways Travel as they made everything so easy and gave great support when it was required.

I had a great trip due to the organisation and support from the Byway team. Hotel bookings trains and connections all first class and when things didn’t go according to plan A Byway were quickly there with an excellent plan B. All of which added to the overall experience.

Excellent route planner, and excellent in-trip support. Eurostar cancelled our return train halfway through the holiday, but Byway remedied this within five minutes of forwarding Eurostar's email to them.

We considered booking our trip directly, but having priced it up, Byway's price seemed reasonable, and definitely worth having their support service as a backup if things go wrong.
