My Canada - thanks especially to Sean Smith - organised a superb trip for us. Everything went to plan exactly as per the itinerary - accommodation, optional excursions, vouchers, check-ins etc - what an experience!

We only had a short time but fitted in so much that we felt we really got to know that part of Canada. The accommodation was mostly excellent and all the trips were well planned with flights and hire car working out perfectly. Communication from the team at MyCanadaTrips was superb as was their response to any queries and even last minute changes. All the hassle of having to decide on places and hotels removed and stress free. Thanks for your service and support.

We had a great holiday arranged by My Canada Trips. What we were really pleased with was the accommodation that they chose for us. Cannot fault anything with any of them. In fact at the hotel in Lake Louise we were surprised to be upgraded to our very own log cabin by the river.. amazing. Also the couple we went with were upgraded to a suite in Vancouver.. another plus. The Rocky Mountaineer was ok in my view( the other three loved every minute) but I think they have cut back on the service they give now after I saw several YouTube videos prior to our journey. I just think the menu could have been tweaked for people like me that just wants a simple menu to run alongside the superb a la carte.The Cruise again was brilliant but the ship we were on ( Celebrity Soltace) was in dire need of a overhaul. Not one USB socket was to be found in our cabin/room,for me with numerous camera gadgets this was a real black mark. Some of the service in the one restaurant (again other ships have two or three restaurants) wasn't very good.
I know this isn't the fault of My Canada Trips but maybe reviews like mine can make a difference and a dream holiday like we had even more of a dream.

The booking process was really good, and the advisor was receptive to our asks and was able to add value based on her knowledge.

We made a few changes between booking and the holiday.

We were happy with the hotels, and they were all well located, and some particularly in Whistler and Ucluelet were exceptional.

The trips supplied with the trip really added value to the trip, and were wonderful experiences.

They took the stress out of planning a 17 day holiday which involved flights, car hire, 2 ferries, 9 hotels, flights, boat trips and cable cars.

We booked our “holiday of a lifetime” nearly a year before we travelled. We read about the tailor made holidays with MyCanada and thought they would be perfect. Unfortunately we found out that they didn’t give us the service or holiday we had hoped for. We had issues leading up to the holiday with our representative usually ignoring any questions we had. I constantly had to resend my emails and got the impression that they couldn’t be bothered. We had too many issues to mention from the substandard 3 star hotel in Vancouver to a terrible service from our car hire company and so on and on….. we have been waiting over a week for a response from them re a hotel they recommended at The Emerald Lake Lodge which was advertised as a 4 star hotel but more like a 2 star hotel. MyCanada are supposed experts but clearly are not and they should not be allowed to say the words tailor made. At no time were my wife and I asked about standard of hotels or even transfers. The service is not good enough and I could go on forever but categorically would not recommend this company as they have no first hand knowledge of Canada and are no different to Trailfinders etc….

Worked with Jennifer on our tailor-made experience to Canada which entails a VIA rail journey from Toronto to Jasper together with the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Vancouver. When discussing accommodation options Jennifer has helped brilliantly with our personal preferences to the accommodation in Jasper. Lots of excursions included within the trip which is great. Jennifer has been patient and knowledgeable throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Absolutely amazing holiday combining the best of the Canadian Rockies with a cruise through Alaska. Gave us the opportunity to tick all the boxes from Goldleaf service on the Rocky Mountaineer, through to visiting the Hubbard glacier, whale watching and seeing bears close up.

Wonderful trip with self drive, rocky mountaineer and Alaskan Cruise.
We were unable to fly home as planned due to Air Canada strike and the response from Canada Trips was really excellent keeping in touch with us, booking us in to hotels and arranging transport to get us to the USA and home with another airline. We met other people using other companies who were not so well looked after and were sorting accommodation etc themselves.

The agent took time to understand what we wanted from our trip and what our budget was. When we received our itinerary we were very pleased. We actually had an issue on arrival in Canada with a cancelled flight, the urgent helpline was readily available and was invaluable with a speedy and satisfactory resolution implemented, meaning we could carry on with our trip with minimal impact. The remainder of the trip was brilliantly organised, tours and transfers ran like clockwork and were brilliant, accommodation was great and the range of activities and pace of the trip were perfect for us. This has been a truly wonderful trip which we are very grateful to My Canada Trips for their assistance and expertise. We would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend them to others.

Trip of a lifetime, that will be hard to beat. Combination of Canadian Rockies followed by Alaskan cruise just amazing.

However we are back two weeks and My Canada havent even reached out to see how went. I felt that before the trip as well. Lots of attention and follow up to get us to book but from our experience did not follow through once trip paid. Not sure you couldnt book same yourself and save money. Some issues with their sub contractors that have just emailed them about as didnt get feedback form

The programme was very well put together and it covered everything that we wanted to do within the six weeks that we had available to u. We wish to thank Cheryl for her excellent work in putting together such an excellent package, we are extremely grateful to her. Every part of our trip went extremely smoothly and didn’t encounter one problem.

Great trip included all the things we wanted to do - a slight error on booking where pricing was incorrect for the package I requested - A first for me to leave the organisation completely in someone else's hand's but it all ran smoothly though there was one trip that we did not do for some reason

Well organised and structured holiday. Helpful staff when booking and received call before left for trip making sure if we had any questions. Good hotels used and good descriptions of tours.

From mking the initial contact to confirming the booking was a seamless proceedure, the Hotels, experiences were superb.

Booking the holiday was very easy. The team at My Canada Trips were very helpful and made suggestions to enhance our holiday. Paying for the holiday was very straightforward, and the team called to check in and see if we had any questions about 2 weeks before our holiday began. The holiday itself went very smoothly and we had absolutely no issues. I will definitely use My Canada Trips again and have already recommended them to friends.

So well planned that we just had to follow the plan and the rest was done for us.

The business class train trips, the excursions and hotels were all fabulous.

We loved the trip pack that was sent in the post too, containing everything we needed, in date order, for our trip.

Would highly recommend .

Normally we DIY our holidays but this was the trip of a lifetime and far too complex so we asked MCT to put together an itinerary based on our wishes and their suggestions. The 16 day plan was excellent and exciting from the start and we just made a couple of minor tweaks.

From there, pretty well everything was perfect with a couple of minor hiccups. The hotel choices were so good, the majority with the bonus of superb views, all the excursions - some we would never have been aware of without our advisor's suggestion - worked perfectly and the flights ( including two internal ones ) all went well. Our advisor ( I'm not going to name them ) had clearly listened to everything and put together the ultimate package ( and at £7,000 less for almost the same thing with another tour company).

So why only 4 stars ? Because, rather like buying a car, ( the salesman is your best friend who cannot do enough but once you've driven off they forget your existence ) our previously superb advisor just vanished. In the 4 months leading up to the holiday - immediately after paying the full balance - several attempts were made to contact them for clarification of small points but no responses were ever received. That was not helpful. Following return to the UK contact was attempted to give huge praise and thanks for the itinerary and planning and to make two very small suggestions that may help future clients. No response has ever been received. Again, not helpful.

But overall the 2027 planned trip to a different part of Canada will be booked with MCT, no doubt about that at all.

Trip booked was the City of New Orleans 12 day trip, spending time in Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans.

My family (my wife, 2 adult children age 19 and 21) thoroughly enjoyed our holiday booked through My Canada Trips. Everything went very smoothly and all component parts of the trip were fantastic.

Flights from Edinburgh to Chicago out and New Orleans to Chicago to Edinburgh back were perfect, the transfer back through O'Hare to catch our final flight back to Edinburgh was as smooth a transfer as we have had. Credit for giving us the right amount of time to make this comfortably.

Hotels in the 3 cities were absolutely wonderful. In every hotel there were 2 double beds provided for my adult children and the hotels were of excellent quality. Also credit for ensuring we had no addtional taxes to pay at any of these hotels (commonplace in Chicago which operates similarly to NYC). Could not have asked for more.

The train journeys from Chicago to Memphis (sleeper) and then later from Memphis to New Orleans were all organised perfectly and both journeys went like clockwork.

All in all the trip was organised perfectly at a competetive price for the high standard of the hotels we stayed in. Great job, would recommend and use again.

They had everything covered.
