Now that I have used MYexpatTaxes for a few returns, I find it very easy to use.

Quick and easy. Excellent app. Prefilled fields from information of previous years filings make it exceptionally helpful.

I have been using MyExpatTaxes for 5 years. I upload my documents, my return is reviewed and I am emailed with any questions or comments. They let me know via email whenever deadlines are approaching, FBAR needs to be signed, uploaded and submitted and if any documents are missing or additional information. Once my tax obligation is emailed to me, I pay it directly in the IRS website and then let them know it’s been paid so they can account for it on my return. I am informed when they have finished and that my return is ready for me to give them my electronic signatures and allow them to file. It is a painless easy process. I have never had any issues.

The website is manageable and thorough. The people have great expertise, respond promptly, and are great to work with.

Fantastic as always. I've used them for years and it's always a breeze. I love how they have saved information from previous years' filings, so you don't have to go rooting around looking for old info.

Definitely recommend for anyone living abroad. It's ridiculous and stupid that we need to file even after not living there for 15 years, but at least these guys make it easy!

Super fast and easy. I used the basic plan. Support staff always replied quickly when I had a question. This was my second year using this company. Plan to use them again next year.

User friendly, lots of explanations making it easier to understand and reasonable cost

This year, the extension to file later in the summer was a big help indeed; however, communication when i finally worked to finish the filing was less than par. I wrote 2 Emails in the computer system, which were NEVER answered. When I wrote an email directly from my Gmail to get help with the erroneous problems in the filing, I did finally get a response from Jenica, who kindly helped me... over the course of 4 Emails exchanged, find the mistakes where I was being forced to pay for upgraded charges. At the end, I was NOT able to "untick" a surcharge for "check services", which I have never needed before. Only after another Email was I able to untick this unneeded service. Also, the "early bird" service I paid for in December was nowhere to be seen until I was finally able to finish the filing.

So, this time was not the best service. In the end, I was able to finish, but it took much, much longer than in previous years. At the end of the day, it seemed the software was trying to force me to pay for extra services. I plan to use this service again next year and can only hope that it goes smother as before 2024. All questions answered quickly

The federal tax filing was great but my CO state tax filing took longer than expected and was incorrect the first time sent for me to review. I'm not sure if it's because of the state I was filing with but the returns had to be completed manually before e-filing. I've not had that experience with other services. But everyone I dealt with was very helpful and professional.

nice process ; easy guidance through software ; if you get stuck there is a dedicated "human- tax agent " who will guide you through email correspondence.

The process was obscenely easy for someone who has never done their own taxes before with the exception of one thing. It was so easy that I didn’t even realize I was actually doing my taxes until they told me I was finished. I thought I was just answering generic profile questions. The only issue I had was right at the end when it asked for my AGI and while it did tell me where to find it on the 1040 from last year it kept telling me it was incorrect and didn’t match the IRS record. I had to use ChatGPT to figure out that that because of my specific circumstances I needed to enter 0 for my AGI instead of my actual AGI. Some more information around how to answer that question so people like me who have no idea what they are doing have a clearer understanding of what to enter outside of a normal situation would be helpful. Otherwise very happy.
