My Jewelry Repair Avis 

I sent My Jewelry Repair a Montblanc Meisterstruck 145 sized piston pen for repair. The ink was not feeding and I suspected a new piston was needed. They returned a 114 sized pen with no piston. When I contacted them about the mix up they said they sent back the same pen they received. But the pen I received was thinner and had no piston in it. I paid $100 for a repair. They suggested I buy a new piston and sent me a link to purchase one.

1. The pen they returned was not the pen I sent.
2. If I paid for a piston repair why did they send me a pen with no piston and then tell me I can purchase a new piston if I wanted? How is that even a "repair"?

My suspicion is that they switched the 25+ year gifted heirloom I sent them, worth over $1000, sent me a newer, slimmer, model (new pens of this type are $%00-$600) in its place in order to steal the one I sent, and charged me $100 for the privilege.

They did a great job repairing my Mont Blanc mechanical pencil. They were very quick.
There was a glitch with receiving emails but when I phoned they could not have been better.

Sent in a pen for service and authentication. We sent a quote to complete the service once the pen had arrived. I assumed the pen was authentic as they sent me a picture of it and quoted me for the work. A few days later, I received a refund, but no explanation of why. I called and was told the pen was not authentic, which was fine but it would’ve been nice if they had contacted me to let me know instead of me having to call them. I asked for proof so that I could show the seller and receive a refund.They sent an email and explanation with a picture that was helpful. However, this is where they went downhill. I had to call three times to get the watch sent back to me and was always told it would be going out that day or the next. After that, I was told that it would go out on the day that I called – they created a label but still have not sent it. They have now had the pen for six working days since saying it would be sent back and I have already paid for the return shipping.

I am pleased with their service and communications, but would never again accept delivery by UPS, which provides poor service, especially for items needing signatures. UPS only exists to make the USPS look good.

Sent my Mont Blanc pen via a UPS shipping label that I paid for the insurance on paid my jewelry Repair printed off the label sent it they received. It said that it had been lost now they won’t return my call. They’re the shipper. I can’t deal with UPS because I’m not the shipper. Nobody will call me back. If I were you, I would never send any kind of jewelry to this crap operation.

This is an outstanding company from a customer relations standpoint. I contacted them to resize my class ring. Unfortunately, for me, they weren't able to do the resizing. However, initially they sent me a prepaid shipping label for me to send them my ring. When it came to returning my ring, I was not charged anything for the return shipping. So, bottom line, it cost me nothing to have my ring shipped, examined and returned. Should the need arise, I will not hesitate to do business with them again.
