Still waiting for delivery….
Had a consultation last thursday and approved my prescription straight away. Said it should be dispatched next day. I was notified that Royal Mail were expecting in Monday and i can see from online that it was not dispatched by Your Pharmacy till then either so already late. We are now 2 days later and it still says the same thing on Royal Mail so clearly my prescription still has not been handed over. This means ill be waiting at least a week before my prescription if not longer!
The doctors informed me this is the service i now have to use but i will be contacting them to inform them that this will not be reliable enough going forward.

We completely understand your concerns, particularly as you were advised that your prescription would be dispatched the following day and were then left waiting with limited updates from Royal Mail. We appreciate how important it is to receive medication when expected, and we recognise that this experience has understandably affected your confidence in our service.
Unfortunately, the medication prescribed was temporarily out of stock, and although we received the stock on Monday and dispatched the prescription that day, we acknowledge that this meant the order was already later than originally anticipated. Royal Mail subsequently experienced a delay in transit, which has unfortunately added further time to the delivery.
We also sincerely apologise that we did not communicate the stock issue and the resulting delay to you clearly and promptly. You should not have been left having to monitor the tracking information yourself without a clear explanation from us.
We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve both our communication and the reliability of the service we provide. We are very sorry that we have fallen short of the standard you expected and deserved on this occasion.

Great not having to wait for a GP appointment however not having an option to collect a prescription locally was not great as I now have to wait 24 hours to have the prescription delivered

Fast and convenient!
Well!!! Amazing service!! Spoke to GP receptionist who advised the usual, no appointments but call back following day when they open to see if any availability that day … then she asked if I’d heard of this service, which I hadn’t. I pre booked an appointment online for the following morning, I joined the video call and the GP was waiting for me! Went through symptoms, asked a few questions and said yes your antibiotics will be posted today for delivery tomorrow!! Will definitely recommend this service 👍👍👍

My local surgery is amazing, almost instant.
My local surgery is a break through in getting an almost instant appointment. I used video for synisitus and had a call back within the hour. I was thoroughly assessed and then given antibiotics and a spray. It didn't quite clear up, as the initial infection was quite bad, I had been ill for a while. When I called in again a few weeks later. I got the same Dr and he treated me again. It was simple, professional and I was too ill to leave my bed. So very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone with video accessibility.

I had a fantastic experience. The process was so quick and the pharmacist was super helpful and friendly which makes a difference. I felt listened to and supported and got exactly what I needed. I’m better still prescription is coming to my home address.

A great service and a lot quicker than…
A great service and a lot quicker than trying to see someone at my drs. The gent I spoke with knew what he was talking about and the meds he prescribed came the following morning. A very good way to see someone when your drs don’t want to see anyone. It was easy to do and I had an appointment within an hour, can’t go wrong really.

I couldn’t get in with the GP for my daughter and needed a UTI sorting immediately as we were going away.
I was able to make an appointment straight away as a time to suit me!

Not same day - wasn't told!
Don't use it if you expect to get medication that day from a local pharmacy, as your surgery would do. I was not told before the consultation that any prescription would have to be couriered to me overnight. I would have used a local service if I had been told I would have to wait 24 hours or more. I waited 24 hours, but the courier and meds did not arrive. The courier had no record of the package, but my local says it's been dispatched. After 45mins on the chat, I was assured it was dispatched. still waiting. Update: Prescription arrived arrived 2 days after my consultation. Not great when I used rthem for an emergency consultation.
