My Perfume Shop New Zealand Avis 

Currently waiting for a refund. The website advertises FAST SHIPPING with same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm. I ordered thinking great I will have the parcel soon...then comes the confirmation email...items I ordered on 14 July are now to be shipped 24-31 July...please note it doesn't say preorder or not in stock, and I think weird but, ok, it says confirmed and shipping from Auckland. Maybe they are picking orders slower than advertised...By the time we hit 29 July I think it's not going to be shipped as I've received no dispatch or tracking details. I email to chase up and now I get the response that delays may occur due to transfer from the Middle East. Ok so I wait till 5 August and think no this is ridiculous I have no idea how long I have to wait and this is completely false advertising anyway, and low and behold look how many negative reviews they have. It's a shame I didn't google them before I ordered, I went to them because of the range advertised and I wanted samples, they were in stock and the advertised fast timeframes. Looks like they are a SCAM and just take your money and then if they reply initially only make excuses, ask you to be patient, and then ignore you when you ask for a refund.

Prompt reply to my query about why I hadn't received my order.However it would have been handy if I had been notified about the delay.

I ordered from My Perfume Shop under the impression I was buying from a local stockist, only to find out they dropship their products from the Middle East without disclosing this at checkout.My order is now four days past the final delivery date, and they have completely failed to provide any valid shipping or tracking information. When I requested a cancellation, "Anne" from customer service refused, falsely claiming there is a 14-day delay policy noted under the "Add to cart" button. I have date-stamped screenshots proving this clause does not exist on their website.Under the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, it is illegal to make misleading representations about delivery timelines or try to override statutory consumer rights with arbitrary company policies. They refused a refund and tried to push store credit or a swap for an item they cannot even track.This business is operating with highly deceptive practices. I am currently lodging formal complaints with the Commerce Commission and initiating a bank chargeback for non-delivery. Do not buy from them.

This company’s website gives false information. Ordered a perfume that I was later told was on pre order, there was nothing on the site to say it was pre order. Weeks of chasing them up, changes to my order, excuse after excuse and I still didn’t receive my purchase. Tried to offer me store credit and discounts but I managed to get a full refund. I have learnt my lesson and will NEVER purchase from them again!

5 star for customer service, particularly Aubrey who helped rectify my order after they could not source one of my perfumes. A bit of a mission but sorted in the end. Be aware that a lot of the perfumes are preorder and may take a while to arrive. Overall good prices

I have ordered from My Perfume Shop twice now. I was so happy with my perfumes. They were discounted and completely authentic. My second order came at the speed of light!
Their customer service is very good, you actually deal with a real person. If you are not in a huge hurry to get your perfume, it's worth the international wait time, just like any other overseas purchase. A++ Thank you My Perfume Shop. :)

literally the worst. the customer service is entirely run by Richpanel, which is AI. incredibly slow shipping and overseas orders brings into question the authenticity of the products. terrible help from customer service, perfumes are not stored in a controlled warehouse, they are shipped from overseas in god knows what conditions.

however, I have had excellent service from Perfume NZ and would recommend them any day.

Ordered Armani code for my wife’s birthday on the basis it would be shipped right away as advertised. Six weeks and several emails later they admit they can’t supply but will not refund- only offer a credit +20% . They are legally obliged to refund but they seem not to give a damn

I ordered a sample vial of Cerruti 1881 EDT for my husband to try. Choosing a new fragrance is always difficult, so it was great to be able to try a small sample. A very easy to navigate website and the sample arrived in super fast time. I will definitely be buying the Cerruti 1881 in a larger quantity. Thank you for the great experience 😀.

Zero stars. These are liars who mislead you by saying everything is shipped from warehouse in Auckland but I now have an email saying exactly the opposite. Products come from around the world. Avoid like the latest plague.

I received the perfume really fast the packaging was excellent it was great to receive my item not broken or damaged like other on-line purchased items arrive,but the most important thing that was fantastic is they can supply me with a perfume that is extremely hard to find which is Elizabeth Taylor perfumes,,if you cant find a top of the line great perfume try these perfumes you cant go wrong with this pick--i never use any thing else but this brand now -woman are always asking me what is the perfume that you are wearing it gets noticed because of the wonderful smell-thank you my perfume shop its great knowing you have us in your thoughts and congratulations on your successful business looking after your customers

I ordered Pure Musc by Narciso Rodriguez as I loved the perfume tried in a shop locally. It had woody musky notes (which I prefer in a fragrance) and a hint of freesias (my favourite flower), so an instant hit with me but beyond my budget. Then I spied 100ml EDP on My Perfume Shop site at a vastly cheaper price and I took a punt (worried it might be a scam.) It arrived via overnight courier within NZ and my husband, also amazed at the value for money and seeing how happy I was, asked if he could pay me back and we could consider my birthday present now "sorted." Indeed it is and I am thoroughly delighted. HIghest recommendation!

Shocking service and delivery times. 3+ months for delivery- disgraceful don't be tempted by cheaper pricing as the stress and unknown validity of the site is not worth it. Stay away. If I could it would be 0 star.

A good website to use for hard to get items that were not available elsewhere. I found the product, ordered it easily and it arrived promptly. I would definitely order from them again.

I've used My Perfume Shop NZ a few times and must say I'm impressed. Purchases have arrived within the advertised timeframe; even when items ordered were unavailable I've had prompt response from Aubrey and credit applied to my account straight away. I especially like the way Aubrey (the Customer Happiness Officer) has kept in contact and fully explained the way to access my credit. Makes me believe they take billing security seriously. Thanks!
