Navathome Australia Avis 

Used the Navathome system for the Coastal skipper/Yachtmaster theory course. Interaction with Alan was very helpful and usually very quick too. For me this was a great solution as I was working too remote to attend any physical theory courses.

Point of improvement would be the layout of the system and sometimes the automated feedback on excercises. This first quick feedback is not always accurate with the labels or still refers to older versions of the question.
But I understand how hard it can be to keep the system all accurate and up to date, as it's a pretty impressive heap of automation in the background.

The folks at Navathome Australia have been really helpful while I have completed my RYA Day Skipper Theory. They were quick to respond when I had questions and very informative.

The team was very helpful and providing online support whenever I had any issues. I initially had some issues with the software but that seem to be due to the VPN that I was using.

All in all a good experience.

Plenty of opportunities to study at my pace. Alan gave meaningful and timely support. I am so muchmore confident in planning for sailing and making Sensible decisions when out on the ocean!

Have just completed Essential Navigation and Seamanship, learnt lots. Did not need any supplementary texts. Very thorough course.

The online learning site is well laid out and clear / easy to navigate. All requirements are also clearly given for the assessments. Registration was quick and easy and after completion of the course, the assessor followed up quickly. A good learning experience.

Good Experience, the online study allows you to pace yourself and take the time to come to terms with each concept. Really good feed back from the instructors and great response times to queries.

Navathome provide a very user friendly and fun online training experience. It made learning easy. The animations and AI driven practical training in radio use allowed plenty of practice with immediate feedback. It made the exam at the end quite painless.

This course was very well constructed. It ensured you knew the content before moving deeper into the subject . The feedback from the instructors was prompt and constructive

It was great when studying on line to have a quick response from Navathome if you had any questions. The replies were easy to understand and clarified any issues.

This was a comprehensive course but with quizzes at the end of each section, it gives you an opportunity to reflect on the content and consolidate knowledge. The booking of the exam was seemless and the process of completing it virtually allows for flexibility around work. Alan was fantastic, full of knowledge and happy to help out with any questions I had. Would highly recommend.

The course materials were well represented with challegning but well thought out questions. It was great to have a real person to contact as well.

The course was enjoyable, and the support offered by Alan at Navathome was excellent. There are a couple of anomalies that creep in through the RYA worksheets as information is updated, and the coursework was transparent in dealing with these and the best way to manage that process. I am now looking forward to the practical portion of the qualification immensely as I feel as prepared as possible in the theory work - thank you

The course was very comprehensive and very challenging but it provided me with a complete understanding and knowledge of boating. the important aspect I did realise was while I previously owned my own sailing boat, back in 1990's I thought that I had enough knowledge and my boat had all the provisions to provide a safe passage. I was wrong.

The entire process, from enrolling in the Essential Navigation and Seamanship Course, to receiving log in information for the online component and the course package, was straight forward and efficient. A lot of the course information was new to me, so having the info presented in multiple ways (such as helpful printed texts, useful visual images, succinct videos and audio formats) made my learning experience a pleasure. Knowing that a person was just an email away if clarification was required made me feel well supported. Watching an experienced person model the correct way to use the navigation instruments helped me feel confident that I am using these tools efficiently. All up I found this online course to be a positive and enjoyable experience and I am looking forward to putting my new skills into practice.

This is a great course. Very easy to navigate and Alan is always ready to help. I will definitely be proceeding on to do the Ocean course.
