I live between Chippenham and Bath, not Antarctica, and it became apparent that fitting was unavailable. Weird! I contacted NextBase with whom I placed the order, and they said I'd need to sort it out with the fitting third party. Wrong, I ordered the service through NextBase, so it's up to them to provide the goods. Got a refund on fitting and got my trusted local garage to fit. Disappointed!

Fitters turnt up then left after 2 minutes then when rescheduled phoned them to ask what time they were coming they said they’ve fitters have 2 jobs before me then 15 minutes later get a phone call to say they’ve cancelled now having to wait for a third time for them to come out and fit
Shit service never recommend to anyone problem is still there not been fixed
Very poor service, fitted equipment then said I would need to setup, stated instructions were in the boot, he then left
Had there been any instructions in the box it would have helped as the engineer did not seem to be able to get me up and running. The dashcam has been hard wired and not connected via the OBD port because he told me that there was no power from the OBD port. Being hard wired when I turn the ignition off there is no power to the dashcam, therefore if someone tries to gain entry to the vehicle I will not get any notification. I would like an engineer to return to correct this installation. Please email me
The fitter was very professional and the app that shows location of the fitter and time of arrival.
He don’t talk to me not much because I’m Deaf. He tell me doing that job for 2 hours you can go indoor when I need you will knock the door. Again I tell him sorry we are Deaf can’t hear knock door so please press doorbell “RING” will alarm to my watch ok. 1 hour late I looking out window see him just sit and use his mobile phone so then I went out to my car and open side door he jump and say oh just finish all done then going walk away. I say stop waiting how about download apps for click with Nextbase iQ. He help done and then didn’t working from iPhone apps not click with iQ. He say sorry don’t know how working is poor area digital sorry you better phone to Nextbase company with help you. Again I told him how can I -hone them I’m Deaf. He say oh sorry you can e-mail to them and they will help you how set up. When he leave gone. So I sit in car try again click with iPhone to iQ and done working great but I paid £115 to them they don’t know how working wow disappointed
4 Stars – Professional Home Fitting Booked Through Nextbase I booked the iQ Professional Home Fitting service directly through Nextbase, and the installation itself was handled professionally. The fitter arrived on time, completed the job efficiently, and made sure everything was set up correctly. Overall, the fitting experience was smooth and done to a good standard. No issues with the installation side of things.
Both cameras fitted to wrong place, contact with fitters ignored

Professional fitting of the cameras. Cables were fitted behind the panels of the car.. something that I would not attempt if installing myself.
Engineer was pleasant, wish a better timeslot was given on the day of fitting other than “the afternoon”. However, engineer fitted it, told me to scan the QR code to set up & off he went, no testing to make sure it worked & shock, the rear camera doesn’t work & the front camera isn’t fitted as advised (internal camera popping out under the rear view mirror). Tried to contact RS Connect but no response
Still waiting for my installation to be completed. I’ve taken two days off work so far for the fitter to fail to turn up. The dashcam will be getting returned for a refund if they can’t be bothered to turn up to fit it
The 1st person that turned up was awful didnt fit the camera right had to have it all refitted now back camera doesn't work so I now have someone coming out again as I have a lise connection as back camera not working correctly.
Fitter was brilliant and helpful talked me through things

When paying for it to be fitted it would have be good if you were shown how it works, not be technically minded it would have helped. Asked if the was a SD card and was told no as it’s connected to the cloud! Only when looking into it it says there is one fitted, just got to find out where ?
Work was completed reasonably quickly

Once the installer left I had a software issue causing the rear camera not being recognised……would have expected the installer to ensure the firmware was up to date Excellent support from next base resolved the issue
