The Nextbase Rear-View Camera is designed with a narrower, telephoto lens, to record the view of the road directly behind your vehicle. The view recorded is similar to the image seen in your rear-view mirror. It uses a 30° telephoto lens to look back through the vehicle, capturing details of the road behind, making sure you are guarded against tailgaters and rear end impacts. The Rear-View Camera can easily be installed by clicking it into the side of your front facing Nextbase Dash Cam model. Compatible with: 322GW 422GW 522GW 622GW (Will NOT work with Piqo) Resolution When you are using a rear-view camera module the resolution of your front camera will automatically adjust to manage the two high resolution video files. The options for these settings are: 622GW Front 4K, Rear 1080p 422/522GW Front 1080p, Rear 1080p OR Front 1440p, Rear 720p 322GW Front 1080p, Rear 720p Module connectivity Connects directly to your Dash Cam and records the rear view of your journey through your car. Handy rear view camera to slot in to front camera. Obviously not as clear as having a wired rear view camera but is good for what it is.

Plugged this into my 422 camera, just overheats the whole assembly and switches on and off constantly. I have nextbase sd card as well. Forward facing camera is fine. Going to return this rear facing camera for full refund!

Perfect for what I need as I now have an SUV so fitting the hard wired window version would have been a nightmare. Then only slightly negative thing I would say is, I wish there was specific cameras for right hand drive cars so the camera can be mounted behind the interior mirror in line with UK law (you are not supposed to be able to see the screen when driving).

Good picture quality and easy to position the lens to look straight through the car.

Not as good as the hard wired rear camera but is a good alternative if it is difficult running the cable to the rear of the car.

As expected, only issue why is this not available bundled with suitable forward cameras? Been wanting this addition for a while and when able to get a substantial discount all bought.
