North Cork Electrical Ltd Avis 

North Cork Electrical Ltd installed 19 panels (E/W roof) and a Sigenergy system with 2 x 8 kW batteries over the last two days. Really happy with their work and how it all turned out. Now all that’s missing is some sun.
Unfortunately, they forgot to bring a crimp tool, so for now, the inverter is connected to Wi-Fi only. Ethernet was connected a month later.

After 4 days, I noticed the panels weren’t producing any power. I contacted the installer, and they came out the next day. It seems the fireman switch might have been off, even though all the breakers were on. Not entirely sure, but the issue was resolved the same day.

Unfortunately, one of the batteries failed at the beginning of January. Took until end of February to get it sorted.

I noticed one of the screws securing the inverter to the wall has snapped.The screw looks quite small—I’d have expected proper bolts for something like this. Was only replaced with screws again.

Following recent installation of a 6 kw solar panel system c/w 5 kw battery, I would be happy to recommend North Cork Electrical (NCE) for all your solar requirements.

I had a PV System + hybrid inverter installed by NCE before Christmas '24. I'd say I had burned the ears off Richie with questions about the system etc before I moved ahead with it, but he always made time to discuss and answer my questions. The roofing guys were excellent when they landed as were the electricians when they commissioned the system.
I couldn't say enough about NCE - would happily recommend to anyone!

After much research and talking with various suppliers, we decided to go with Richard and his team and NCE. From the get go, the quality of their solar PV proposal, communication and information was miles ahead of the rest. Topped with the rapid installation and lead time only 5 days and a very competitive price on the system we purchased I could not fault the teams. When I began to consider getting a solar system I had contacted nine solar panel installation companies, but only one of them came back with an appropriate solution at a price that made sense. This was North Cork electrical. From my first contact with James I got the vibe that I was dealing with a company who put their attention to the delivery of a quality product to suit the needs of their client. The design engineer took on board my questions and prepared six different options for different sized systems, with and without batteries. The options were clearly presented using the Opensolar app. The performance estimates looked realistic. When I decided to book, the process was straightforward, the method of payment and contract was fair. Grant applications and the BER were taken care of. The installation crews were friendly and efficient. When I initially had a technical teething problem it was sorted remotely and promptly. Overall, dealing with the company was a good experience and one month in the system is working as I anticipated.
