These people are completeMaSTERS OF BAIT AND SWITCH tactics!
I mean, I did everything in the book to let them know exactly what I had at my house to move. That I have a disability that needs thorough explanation of every step &methodical packing. Since there were many things to pack. I didn’t understand how they could do it and move me in one day an hour away into a storage. They kept assuring me they could. Before they came out I think I spoke with four different people. ( I have names to give to the Better Business Bureau). They kept switching me around. I ask them not too! should’ve been my biggest red flag! But I looked at the decent reviews and kept saying to myself that maybe I just need to be patient.what did I know?
asked each one to come out and asses. I did not want to do pictures in a FaceTime video. They told me that since Covid they decided this worked best and they never changed it.
I told the first guy if they use third-party for Moving. That was a deal breaker. He J assured me these people work for them. That was the first bald face lie.
They said they had a local facility in FL. They told me the video FT was enough to do an exact moving cost sheet.THREE people told me that. They know who they are. I’m sparing them on line right now. I had already sent photos of as much that would download and send. But the cost sheet did not reflect everything. Done 2x. The man seem to be aggravated at my insistence. But in a nice charming, southern manner.uhg. The lady reassured me several times…After FT video w her. They still did not have it all in the receipt. She expressed Not to worry. The price they give me would be the price. It was on FT video!!! They were sure I would not be charged anymore since I had a binding contract. I was very explicit as to my desire NOT to be charged more AND to NOT have a 3 rd party mover. That if they could not do moving separate from packing. Then, at least note my disability will require a methodical and organized packing process . To start early in the morning to make this happen. They assured they had PRO PCKErS. To the point where I felt like I may be acting a nuisance. Even though everything in my gut told me to cancel. With a home sale pending. I could not cancel. I had to be out of the house or that could cost me 1000’s. And They 3 different people kept assuring me.
I just went w it.
Btw- I had gotten three different bids for this move. This was the cheapest by a few hundred $. I was an idiot not to go with the company who actually came out and professionally assessed the job. One lady was the reassuring person w the kind southern way who promosed their cost was their cost. I still think they keep her in the dark. Since she seemed to really believed they would not charge me more.
So many red flags but since I had never moved like this before, I figured it was my problem not theirs. Nope people are right when they say go with your gut. These people are complete and utter rip offs. I actually find it hard to believe that people stay in business like this.

OK ! Now what they did. They told me it was a window of two days. They would call me the day before though. So I got a call saying they would be there the next morning. I waited all morning I didn’t hear a word. I knew the weather was rainy off and on. so I called the company. Oh they should have called you to tell you they would not be showing up till tomorrow. But we told you it would be a 2 day window? (Even though they did call the night before) I actually told them it was going to rain. They said they were coming anyway. They did not. I checked my missed calls. A message from someone barely speaking English that simply said (hello. This is “name”) Then he hung up. No company name! no message. I called it back on a hunch.The guy said yeah they’re not coming. That was him. He did apologize for not leaving the company name. The rain…HE would be here the next day in the morning.
First of all the truck showed up at approx 10:30. not early enough to get this packing and moving job done. We’re to send three people which two may have been the truck? The 1 guy walked in the house and asked me to show him What to move. His eyes were as big as golf balls. When I showed him only the kitchen/living room items to be packed. He said he was not told he had to pack up the kitchen!! ? What!?
He started taking pictures and videos. He told me to show him what I need. Then he c office… He came back with the phone… so they could tell me that it was gonna cost me another thousand dollars. But no worries cause I have a credit of $200.
So it’s only $800 more. If I had a broom, I would’ve kicked him out with it! They kept hounding me that day. My phone was lit up. Different people! …
It was a nightmare. I got on the phone 1x and explained my realization of their bait and switch tactic.Then I got their email that they’re keeping my 1200. Deposit. Do not EVEN CALL this company.

Myles and john showed up on time and were quick, courteous and professional. No extra charge But we got to the new place late cause of traffic

I’m really glad I went with them instead of driving a truck myself. It let me take my time loading and unloading without rushing, and I didn’t have to lift everything up into a truck. I handled most of it myself with a bit of help from my wife.

What I liked most was the convenience, we could pack while still living in the house. Pricing with Northern Moving System felt fair and communication stayed clear throughout.

All time the crews were very pleasant to work with and considerate of my stuff.

The team that came from this company was great and I would recommend that they get to continue other great jobs for people. These guys also should get a big raise as well. One of the three who never did this before in his life. Did a great great job.

They were well worth the tip I happily gave them when the job was done

The two movers who assisted with my relocation were both professional and polite. After exiting my old apartment, they arrived promptly at my new address, and the entire move was completed in just under two hours. I received three additional quotes from other moving companies, but NORTHERN MOVING SYSTEM offered the most affordable rate.

I appreciate the communication from the movers on the day of the move. I totally enjoy the service.

Price was good, the service was also good and the guys are friendly and helpful.

The movers were respectful of my home and are professional at assembling my furnitures.

I cannot seem up update my previous review but I can say their reply is just as wrong and petty as their terrible service. There was no assault, we have ring cameras is anyone wants to see the video. They cancelled the service on us the night of the move and refused the to even refund the money even though they cancelled on us. I have that call recorded too. This is a very dangerous company to do business with. If you need receipts I use yahoo email and my email is ccdb19 at yahoo dot com. I will happily send proof to others if you want proof and unsure who is tell the truth.

The moving crew from Northern Moving Systems was outstanding. They arrived early, introduced themselves, and got straight to work. Every item was carefully packed and labeled. I appreciated how organized they were—it made unpacking so much easier. They were polite and even asked where each item should go in my new home. Not a single item was damaged, and they took their time to protect doorways and walls while moving furniture in and out. I highly recommend them if you want a thorough and considerate moving team.

I needed a kitchen table disassembled, taken downstairs, and reassembled. They took care of it without any trouble. We’ll be reaching out again when it’s time to move more furniture upstairs.

We weren’t really sure about hiring movers at first since we’re on a budget and not fully prepared, but Northern moving system made it easy from the start. They jumped right in and handled heavy wooden furniture down a tight staircase like pros. It honestly made us relax and focus on packing instead of stressing.

I noticed they kept checking corners while moving big items. Nothing got scratched.

They folded some loose clothes into boxes instead of leaving them. Small thing but helped later.

I noticed they checked the space before moving things in and didn’t just place items randomly. It saved me from having to rearrange everything later, which really helped.

I was looking at several moving companies and ended up choosing Northern Moving Systems because of their price match guarantee. They not only matched another quote but provided superior service. The movers showed up on time, packed and moved everything efficiently, and were very respectful of my space. They helped with disassembly and reassembly of my large bed frame and made sure everything was secure during transport. I felt like I got top-notch service without overpaying. Definitely a solid choice for anyone budgeting a long-distance move.
