Northern Soul Scents Avis 

I've used wax melts from that many companies I've lost count but these are something else, yes they aren't cheap but they are worth every penny, personal favourites are Thunderstorm, Harbour side and Graveyard Walks.
I use an electric warmer and the scent from each cube lasts for around 16 hours, I cannot recommend these melts enough.

I got the ‘bookshop’ candle and absolutely adore it,it’s so me I wish I could get it as a scent! The fragrance is gorgeous and subtle but very distinctive. I will certainly be back for more

I absolutely adore Northern Soul Scents. They absolutely nail it every time. Thunderstorm is my favourite, its kind of minty, earthy, electric. It definitely gives me those thunderstorm feels.

I've just bought Graveyard walks and it made my jaw drop! Its smokey, but I 100% can smell the cold stone and mossy floor.

The scents really transport you into that space. They're absolutely spot on for scene setting when reading a book!

They are a bit expensive, but not unreasonably so. It is obviously enough to cover wages and materials and such. I'm overall very happy with the quality!

Ordered the selection of wax melts, a room spray and an oil burner, ordered totalled over £40. Items were delivered by Evri, but left on my front doorstep (unsecured as it’s on a public footpath/road). Contacted several times to say that I haven’t received my items even though tracking said ‘delivered’ (presumably someone took them, as they were just left unsecured and out in the open). Received an email back from Northern Soul Scents with a photo of the package on my front doorstep. I replied, explaining that it’s an unsecured location and the items weren’t there, presumably taken. I tried to email again several times. It’s now 10 days later and my emails have been ignored, no response, no resolution offered. So, it’s cost me over £40 for no items and aggravation if trying to contact and being ignored. Technically the issue is with Evri delivery, but as I purchased from Northern Soul Scents and the form regarding any issues and contact is from them, I would expect a response from them. Extremely disappointing.

The wax melts smelled amazing I ordered mams washing and ocean drive and everyone who’s come to my home comments on how amazing it smells. I’ve also bought spa day too and that is amazing. The packaging was lovely along with the little thank you note. I’ll be buying from them again.

I saw these on an Instagram ad and went back and forth for a couple of weeks before buying. Maybe I was expecting too much and now I find myself disappointed. I ordered the box of 5 oils and was really looking forward to thunderstorm but it just smells like men's cologne. Coffee and newspapers is nice and so is Lakeside Spa but tbh, for the money, I've had cheaper that are just as good. Plus the week delivery time that I wasn't aware of til after purchase so it didn't arrive in time for what I wanted it for.

Overall, just fine but I expect more than just fine for £40.

I saw northern soul scents on an instagram ad, so pleased I did! I love scents that some might class as more masculine, I’m also very sensitive to smells I don’t like very strong overpowering scents they give me a headache, neither do I like anything that smells fake. I love these wax melts so much! They are exactly what I would want. I bought one of the lamp burners too and it’s perfect, love the rustic look and also love how the whole room glows a warm orange it will be lovely and cosy in the winter. I will be buying more from northern soul scents, love the new wall plug in burner so will be buying that one next! Being a northern lass myself I do like to support northern businesses too! I didn’t buy the ‘mam’s washing’ scent but greatly appreciated seeing ‘mam’ instead of ‘mum’

I ordered a large selection of different scented wax melts and the Thunderstorm Room & Linen Spray. All of them are absolutely gorgeous and you can smell the quality, these beautifully crafted scents linger and last far longer than other competitors I’ve tried. I won’t go back to buying the others now, I’m sticking with Northern Soul Scents. I’ve just placed another large order and can’t wait to try some more of these unique scents around my home.

I’ve tried the subscription service a couple of times. No issues with delivery, but I have stopped again after the latest box as the scents were really not very nice and I wouldn’t use them so a waste of my money. I understand it’s what’s chosen each month so get what’s given, but I was really quite disappointed. They also don’t have much throw, compared to some subscription wax melts I’ve had. Sorry to give a -ve review of a small company.

We have the monthly subscription and always look forward to what wonderful scents have just dropped through the letterbox. Very rarely have we had one we don’t like but it’s inevitable that it happens occasionally. They melt quickly and fill the room with fantastic scent.

I'm obsessed with their gorgeous oils and wax melts. I bought lots of different ones to try and haven't disliked any I've used so far. Some are more to my own taste than others but that's just a personal thing. Lovely packaging and quality, dispatch and delivery can be slow but it's a small business. Favourites so far are Graveyard Walks, Grandad's Allotment, Forest Floor and Herbal Apothecary and will be reordered. I still have a few more to try yet though! The wax melts last much better in one of their lamp burners rather than a standard tea light burner, the latter I think gets too hot and kills the fragrance quicker. Worth buying a lamp burner. Really pleased with my purchases so far.

A great product of which I am extremely happy with. I find the customer service very good to my way of thinking. After using a well known brand for many years, I have now decided to stick with Northern Soul Scents. I do try and support small UK companies where possible.

I absolutely love these wax melts. I have so many favourites I wouldn’t know where to start. You won’t be disappointed. The scents are amazing. The service, communication and delivery are great too. As they are handmade, delivery is not immediate but be patient, they are worth it. I have tried many different melts from other companies but I always go back to Northern Soul Scents. I have struggled to find room scents and oils since the demise of the company I used to buy from but finally Northern Soul Scents finally filled the gap. Beautiful! Highly recommended. Please buy from them because I am very keen for them to continue!

These wax melts are the best I've ever purchased. They scent the entire ground floor and I can even smell it when i come downstairs the next morning. No artificial colours and classy packaging. My favourites are forest floor & thunderstorm.

What can I say , I've been using wax melts for years and was quite disappointed until I found this company. The wax melts are amazing and the smells they give off are out of this world. Ordered 8 different ones and they are absolutely lovely . Can't wait for my 2nd order to arrive !!!!

I cannot praise the beautiful scents I’ve received, highly enough. My favourites are Campfire, Mam’s Washing and Coffee and Newspapers at the moment. Attractively packaged and well appreciated.
I can’t give 5 stars simply because of the length of time my order took to arrive.
