I still stand strong
I was beyond the moon when I received an invitation to join this network and organization. I felt as if my hard work was being acknowledged. As I began to share my news, I was attacked with remarks that it means nothing and that this was just a business, throwing out a net to anyone in college, grad, or undergrad who is willing to pay to belong to a network with absolutely no accreditation. Although my defense included what I have learned, it was reduced to reading a self-help book. I am still proud of my accomplishment. I thank you entirely, and I look forward to learning much more.

Being inducted into NSLS…
Being inducted into NSLS was a proud milestone in my educational journey. As a first-generation college student, it validated the hard work and sacrifices I made while balancing family, work, and school. I have just joined the NSLS, and I felt welcomed like family from the very first day. Before joining, I wasn't someone who set goals, but this experience has truly changed my perspective. My Journey
As I began my journey to achieve my induction, I did not know what to expect . My hope was to gain more confidence and it was important for me to finish this goal for my own personal dream. I not only gained confidence but also experiences and friendships that will guide me through life.
