False pretences- they offer same day delivery but don’t deliver. Not same day, not next day, not until seven days from the order! For a funeral. Absolute SHAM of a service. Don’t touch them.

I wish I’d read the reviews before…

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering! Phoned the first time to confirm delivery today and met with not the most helpful person, phoned several hours later and told delivery by 8pm, it’s now 8:30 and no delivery. Won’t ever order from here again and recommend going elsewhere.
Followed up the next morning turns out they were delivered and left in the letterbox! The worst service ever.

Did not deliver on the same day as advertised. Dont waste your money or time using this company especially for special occasions. Custom service also pretty unhelpful and didn't sound at all surprised the flowers hadn't arrived as requested. 🤬

I feel lucky that my husband received…

I feel lucky that my husband received the rose I sent him at work for his birthday, albeit just after the end of the working day so the effect wasn't as hoped. Going by these other reviews (which I should have read before ordering, and normally do!!), we did a lot better than most. The rose was in good condition although only accompanied by one piece of greenery when the picture had shown two. Before the arrival, I checked the delivery status on the Shop app and was shown it had been delivered two hours before that time (it hadn't). I rang the 0800 number (please be aware that one version of this number on the website has a typo in it: an extra 0) and was told it was on its way but they couldn't give me a time. I rang back a couple of hours later to be told (after pressing them a bit) that yes it would be 'definitely today'. More time passed, I tried the chat bot and they said today as well. Perhaps next time I should specify that I need it delivered by a certain time, but the rose's courier slip said it was being delivered to a home/residence which makes me grateful that it wasn't delivered to my husband's work around 9pm (like it says they do for home deliveries)! Also please be aware that the packaging the rose came in was from Bloomex (who have a bad rep), so it looks like Nzblooms does partner with them. I likely won't go with Nzblooms again, but as I say I feel lucky that the rose arrived at all and that it wasn't half dead. Sorry to read everyone else's experiences apart from those 2 or so OK reviews.

Disappointed- long delivery and wrong flowers

I live in Australia and wanted to send flowers in NZ. I ordered on Sunday for next day delivery. Got a message late Monday night saying the location was outside of same day delivery which isn’t noted anywhere on my order or website. They then emailed me saying due to “unforeseen circumstances “ they couldn’t create the arrangement id ordered. Long story short flowers were delivered late Tuesday and they couldn’t have been any further from what I wanted. I ordered light pastels and got a slapped together harsh reds.
Will never order from them again

They were not delivered on the day of…

They were not delivered on the day of delivery and did not contact me. They said it was because it was ordered on the weekend. No where on the website did it say this. Then they sent an email to say that the flowers I ordered wernt available and they had replaced them. The flowers are minimal and mainly roses....not what I ordered at all. Terrible experience and would not go near them again or recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Didn’t delivery my daughter’s 30th birthday flowers! I requested a refund on the online chat, which they agreed to. They then for some reason despatched a box of flowers that arrived 6 days later?!! Flowers were half the size of the photo, delivered in a box & shipped from Auckland. They do not use local florists. Customer service will now not respond to my emails.

Beware

Steer clear of this seller! There’s no way to ring them if overseas, my order delivery was not confirmed and was delivered a day late. Their contact email address bounces back.

SCAMMERS - NZ BLOOMS, BlOOMEX, MEL’S FLOWERS, FROM YOU FLOWERS NZ

OPERATING UNDER NZ BLOOMS, BlOOMEX, MEL’S FLOWERS, FROM YOU FLOWERS NZ and there could be more!! Do not buy from these websites. They are scammer businesses owned by a Canadian company with offshore directors, posing as local florists. I believe they purchase unsold flowers from Auckland florists so by the time they arrive at the destination, they are no longer fresh. They also use a normal postal service rather than an urgent delivery service. The same day delivery promise on their website is a misrepresentation. Their customer service is absolutely useless - they don’t actually work for the flower company - they just use a random call centre whose staff simply forward notes to the flower company who never come back to you anyway. Their customer service email address is also invalid so there’s no way of contacting anybody who actually works there. We ordered flowers to be delivered for a funeral, were promised that they would arrive by same day by 3 different customer service staff, and then received an email at 9pm advising that delivery couldn’t be achieved by same day and that a complimentary gift has been added to the order. The recipient confirmed that no complimentary gift was included. How embarrassing! We also requested a refund given the delay in delivery and we were offered a refund of $5. Pathetic! I have also asked for photos of the flowers on 3 occasions given the number of complaints about wilted flowers being delivered. After receiving promises of photos from the customer service staff, no contact has actually been made by the flower company. AVOID THESE BUSINESSES AT ALL COSTS.

Misleading

My order included a vase. On their advertisement it says ‘Vase included’. The first time I rang the person on the line said it was the wrong number and hang up. I rang the same number again and the same person again and this time she confirm it was NZ Bloom. The person on the phone could hardly speak or understand English and didn’t know what a Vase was and didn’t know why I was calling. I had to spell VASE three times until she said she understood and give me an Australian email address to contact as they couldn’t help. Tried the email address but it’s auto reply’s with a technical issue and the email not delivered.

Wish I could do zero stars!
Dealing with this 'company' is an absolute nightmare. Trying to pay for and send flowers on behalf of a friend and it was horrific. Please avoid this scam shop if you'd like to maintain your sanity. One guy on the phone sounded like he was in the back of a laundry, and today I got a woman who was making excessive noises and moaning. Bizaaaarre.

This company is breach of the Consumer Guarantee Act, they sent a substandard bouquet , completely different to one advertised and that I paid for.
They refuse to accept any accountability and do not respond to complaints.

I am formally reporting them to trading standards and will seek a refund via bank as they in breach of consumer law.
Disgraceful and unacceptable DO NOT USE THEM.

Flowers still not delivered after I…

Flowers still not delivered after I ordered them on the 25th March. No idea how to contact, email and phone number don't work, I am getting police involved after seeing all the negative reviews! DO NOT PUCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!

Worst bullshit ever

Worst bullshit ever brought a pack of flowers and gift box of chocolates and a weird collection looking like it came from the Asian supermarket showed up nothing like what was advertised. Might be Koreas number 1 chocolate sure as hell not New Zealand’s. The flowers were wilted and small. Whatever you do don’t buy from here if I could give 0 stars I would

I wish I could do ZERO - Like the rest of the reviews so disappointed with this company. My son spent $200 to send me a bouquet of flowers for my birthday while he is in Brisbane - to Auckland. He organised it 5 days ago and paid and what do you know, nothing showed up. When he called to see what happened the person was SUPER RUDE to him and told him they still deliver up until 9pm. We waited until 9pm and still nothing. Then he received a random picture of the flowers that had apparently been delivered. A white brick wall and a wooden structure. No noticeable features, we have NEVER had something not be delivered, we are not an *A* address and there is no way to mistake delivery address. SCAM company! Should be shut down.

Total scam

One star is honestly a compliment for this disaster. I ordered a bouquet for a special occasion, but what showed up looked like it was scavenged from a bin. It was half the size advertised, the flowers were already wilting, and did not looked good. I’ve seen better bouquets in a grocery store clearance bin.
The "service" is nonexistent. I messaged their online support line multiple times regarding my order, but it kept saying its in transit. I called their phone number and the lady on the phone wasn't interested to talk and kept saying that the flowers were delivered. It was clearly not and around 5pm they said wait till 8pm, like seriously.
It’s like they take your money and then completely vanish. Absolute scam of a business with zero respect for their customers. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. And guess what, by the next morning the flowers were completely dead 🙃

I ordered flowers for my mum in Marlborough and then saw all the bad reviews which disheartened me. But the next day, on her birthday, the flowers were not only there but beautiful, so only good reviews from me.

Message for friend printed on the back of a 15% off voucher

I placed an order for flowers to be delivered to a friend. During the ordering process, I did not see any clear place to enter a delivery address, so I included the correct address in the special instructions, along with a request for no white flowers. Despite this, the flowers were delivered to my home address. If there was any discrepancy or uncertainty, a quick phone call to confirm would have easily resolved the issue.

What was much more disappointing was the presentation. The message attached to the flowers was printed on the back of a 15% discount voucher labelled “New Zealand’s Discount Florist,” and the paper itself had been torn unevenly. It looked extremely unprofessional and was honestly quite embarrassing. In a way, I’m relieved the flowers came to me, as it would have been very awkward for my friend to receive them in that condition. It also makes me concerned about the quality of previous orders we’ve placed.

I attempted to resolve this directly but had no success. I sent a message via the website chat and specifically requested a phone call, but received no response. When I called, there was little interest in helping and I was asked to email photos of the issue; however, the email bounced back with a delivery failure notification, suggesting that the contact email is not functioning.

Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and based on both the service and presentation, I would not recommend this company.

WARNING: Avoid this company. Unprofessional and dishonest.

​I specifically requested a delivery before 3:00 PM as the business address was closing. Despite this, the flowers never arrived. When I called at 3:00 PM to track the order, the staff was unhelpful, refused to provide tracking info or a manager, and eventually hung up on me.

​I spent the rest of the afternoon being lied to; I was told 4:00 PM, then 5:00 PM, before they finally "canceled" the order at 5:15 PM. Two days later, they had the audacity to email me saying they tried to deliver (after the business closed!) and that I would have to pay extra to resend them.

​Terrible communication and zero accountability. Save your money and go elsewhere.
