Bought one bag back in November and just realized they’ve been charging me every month since this for NOTHING in return. SCAM.

I just noticed a charge for 18.33 on my credit card the name of the company is Oak and Hearth LLC with a phone number 702 area code called the number and someone answered he said that it was not his company. called my credit card company and on 2/5/23 I purchased a bag. Have been being charged 18.33 a mo for 7 mo. twice in June. put in a dispute

Oak & Health is nothing but fraud and scam.

I purchased a $24.99 bag from Oak & Health on 10-24-2022. I did not receive notification of membership or agree to the charging of $18.33 as membership fee. I didn't realize they were changing $18.33 per month starting from 10-28-2022. They even speed up the monthly payment date every month, from the 28th of the month in 2022 to 13th in May of 2023. In May they charged two monthly fee of $18.33, 5-13-23 and 5-28-23 and moved the next payment date up to 6-11-2023. In total they charged $18.33 * 10 = $183.30 to my credit card before I realized the fraud and called them to stop the practice. Company such as Oak & Health which charges a monthly fee unauthorized after the initial purchasing is a fraud company. This kind of practice needs to be stopped and punished. The company claimed that their notification did ask for agreement of monthly membership fee from customers. If that is the case then it seems like they have intentionally hide their verbages on monetary amount and conspired to scam their customers out of paying monthly fees. In addition, how do they explain the speeding up of the payment dates and begin to charge two monthly fees in May of 2023?

I request that they return the unauthorized $183.30 to me, and their unethical practice need to stop. I hope BBB can help to stop this kind of scam from this company so other customers will not experience the same fraud. ​Judy

Scammers. Don't buy anything, they will charge you ongoing monthly for a 'membership' that you never agreed to. Do not engage with this company

Oak & Hearth scheme seemed to work on numerous consumers. I fell for it just like many others. The way they explained that they sent an welcome letter explaining everything, is an utter lie. That never happened. If they sent emails and communicated with me, then I wouldnt be here today. I would have cancelled that account long time ago. Not to mention, if I had been their valued member, then how come in last 7 months they didnt send a single promotional or advertising email? They were so quiet. Perhaps sending such email would trigger a suspicion on my end! I am not the scammer here. I never used whatever service they said I signed up for. I dont even want my $169 back, I want them to accept their unethical business tactics and to stop deceiving people and stop lying and stop stealing. Period!

ZERO actually. I do not even remember what I bought from this company! However they have charged my credit card for a "subscription" every.month. $25 and change...different each month. June 4th 7th "subscription" and $42.07 in December 2022. I have no idea what the subscription is for? What the heck are taking my money. Just spotted on a Cc review. I see the BBB has lots or same complaints. I agreed to no subscription just like everyone else. I think we all need to hit social media heavily and put these suckered out or business for scamming!!! This company should be shut down for Scam.
I do not remember buying anything from them yet they collected money from my bank account for 1 year — from April 2022 to May 2023.
They cannot even tell me what I bought that warranted such monthly deduction about $18.00 from my account. I never subscribed to anything and I do not know how they got my account information. I just called my bank to report the scam. This scammers should be investigated. They are not above the law. They are a financial threat to the public.

Scammers. Bought dog coats in December. Charged 18.33 monthly since them for a membership. No email was sent welcoming me to the membership. They owe me over $100.00 never order from them. Liars and thieves. Enjoy my $. . .

SCAMMERS!! I bought 2 bags and then was charged for a monthly membership of AUD 27. They have robbed me of over 220 Australian dollars. I am now reading this has happened to multiple other customers and the standard reply is that the customers agreed to it. I have 3 emails about my purchase from them (I keep all my emails) and none of them mentioned membership which I would have never agreed to.

Hi I got the mop i ordered. It took about 3 weeks. The package was in good shape when it arrived so nothing was broken. The mop works really well. I was sceptical at first but as I started cleaning my walls I realized how useful it really was. I really like the fact that I dont have to put my hands in water anymore. Good job oak and hearth. I love my new mop.

I was scammed....a monthly membership ship fee hit my account once I purchased a product. I did not sign up for a membership fee. The product I thought I was buying at a good price has now cost me double of what I paid for the membership fee that I did not agree too. Why would I pay $27.41 a month to be a member. I would put that into my Xmas fund rather than a membership like this. Thieves!

It has been really handy for fitting the extra stuff that doesn't fit into my bag.

This bag is fantastic! I've already taken two trips with it.

Light weight and folds flat to about 10 inches wide and Fits in purse or luggage.

I love how it zips to a smaller size or can be expanded.

It came in full size and I was able to get it into its small pocket size without ruining the zippers. I think it's going to be a great bag if you don't overpack it.

Complete scam. I bought a bag for $22, then they claim I signed up for a membership for $18.33 monthly indefinitely. I looked at all of my email interactions with them, and there is nothing about this. As if I would want a membership for almost the cost of the cheap bag I bought every month. Total scam. Should be illegal.

If you order from them you are automatically signing up for a monthly membership fee of close to $20.00. When you try to get that removed and credited, they just send a premade template saying I opted for this... (Never would I), SCAM ALERT! NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!!! BBB is next!

Made 1 purchase in Sept2022 and unbeknown to me, a monthly amount of USD$18.33 has been taken out of my account since. That’s AU$27.19 x 7 transactions!

Nowhere did I sign up for what the company claim is a membership. When questioned, the company have tried to tell me it was in the terms and conditions but the example they have sent me is not what I saw at point of sale. Very sneaky! No transaction ID on my bank statements either until the very last one which is what tipped me off.

I always do due diligence with online shopping, check all terms and conditions and nothing was untoward at point of sale!

Stay away, scammers!
