I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with October’s Very Own.

I ordered clothing worth about €275 (a polo and a jogger). According to DHL, the package was left unattended outside my front door while I was not at home. There was no signature, no handover, and I never received the parcel. When I came back, it was gone.

I immediately contacted customer support and explained the situation, including the delivery photo which clearly shows the package just placed outside. I checked with neighbours and around the building, but it was nowhere to be found.

Instead of helping, the support simply kept repeating that the tracking says “delivered” and therefore they are not responsible. No replacement and no refund were offered. It honestly felt like nobody actually tried to resolve the issue.

At the beginning I actually wanted the items and would have accepted a replacement. But after the way this case was handled, I lost all interest in the products. Good customer service should care about whether the customer actually received the goods, not just whether a tracking status changed.

For a large brand and a company connected to a major artist, I expected much better support. The communication felt dismissive and unhelpful. I tried to continue the conversation but I could no longer get proper responses through their ticket system.

I finally had to open a PayPal Buyer Protection case just to have a chance to get my money back. Without PayPal I would most likely be left with nothing even though I never received the order.

I cannot recommend ordering here. If you do, make sure you use PayPal. My experience showed me that once the tracking says “delivered”, they consider the matter closed even if the customer never actually received the package.

Very frustrating experience and I will not order again.

Return

Been trying to return a gift I bought my grandson , first email from me was 1/6/2026. Said they will get back to me in 2 days ! It is now the 14 th of January,still haven’t heard from them . No phone number to call ,no address ,or info to return the gift too ! Who owns this company ? It will out of business soon !

Faulty item received

UK order so I have to pay £22+ to return the item and only a gift card is issued !

Avoid avoid !! Huge disappointment

Delivery to South Africa

I placed my order for an item as soon as it got dropped on 16/07/2025. After reading others experiences of OVO I was a bit nervous but I'm glad to say that my order was successfully delivered to me (in South Africa) on 21/07/2025(4 days earlier than the expected delivery date).

Customer service never answers emails

Customer service never answers emails. Places an order, it doesn’t ship. No tracking or information on the website, so I have emailed customer service 3 x over the past week and a half and not one email response.

OVO does not stand behind their clothing!

OVO clothing is overpriced streetwear of poor quality. In particular, BEWARE of buying any garment from the Muskoka collection. I used a small amount of typical stain-remover (Spray N Wash), which most people use, for a stain that did not come out during the regular wash and both OVO garments were completely destroyed. The colour was completely removed from the clothing. I have used Spray N Wash many times and never has a garment been altered, yet alone ruined. The fabric and manufacturing process of OVO garments are of poor-quality given that garments cannot even withstand some typical stain remover. I contacted customer services, shared my experience, requested replacement or store credit and suggested they indicate online and/or on the garment tag to avoid using stain removers on their products. Customer Services promptly responded indicating that there was nothing they could do and would not entertain any compensation for the two-month old hoodie and sweatpants. They added that the washing instructions "tell you what to do" and not what not to do. OVO does not stand behind their products. They do not even allow customers to rate their products on their website. What are they so afraid of? Perhaps, they are fearful of hearing from and having customers share the truth about how disappointed they are by OVO's overpriced, poor-quality streetwear. I suspect that there are many first-time OVO customers but fewer return buyers. Disappointed that this is a Canadian brand. We are now left with $300 rags! Never again!

I ordered from this company on 11/7/24. I emailed them on 12/9/24 because I hadn’t heard back about my order, they said I didn’t provide a physical address.. sent it to them twice, also screenshot my order which had my physical address on it. They refunded some of my money because they didn’t have my jacket in stock, but if they would have sent it when I ordered it I would have a jacket. After the 6th email I was done and asked for my money back on 1/2/25. They sent me a fedex tracking. It was delivered to a neighbors house on 1/3/25. Do better!!!

No Returns!

Please do not buy from this company - especially online. The return policy is non-existent! I attempted to return online something I bought for my child, but the return site was down in early December. Eventually, when the site was back up and running, I was told I could no longer return. And all you can get is a gift card - not your money back!

What a total shambles of a company

What a total shambles of a company. So frustrating from start to finish. Ordered and paid outright for a bedroom set wardrobe chest of drawers and bed side cabinet. Delivered on time and that was the only thing they got right.
I paid a joiner £80 pound to put them all together. When I arrived home later on it was found that I had a cream dresser ( should have been grey ) a bedside cabinet and out of the seventeen pieces ten were missing from the wardrobe. When I phoned the following day I was told they did not have the missing pieces in stock and could give me no idea as to when they would arrive. I explained that my clothes were now on the floor and I needed a wardrobe. The options I was given were pathetic. I was told to order and pay for a new set and they would then except the return of the ones I had. I explained I did not have another three hundred pounds to buy another set. She offered me money off. What I was supposed to do with the wardrobe I don’t know She offered a forty pound discount card to spend with Very I said no just send me a wardrobe. Her reply No we cannot do that. Forty five minutes I was on the phone putting my case forward. In the end after she spoke with her supervisor twice and they agreed because I had already paid out £80 to have the units put together they would refund me the full price and also give me a voucher for £80 for all my disturbances. I excepted and before I hung up I asked for again to clarify as to what I was getting.
I recieved my refund the goods were picked up but no voucher. I asked the question and they said can you give proof. How ? I keep going around in circles with them. They have no intention of paying out.
They make it very difficult to get in touch no emails just telephone conversations unless I recorder the conversation. I can not prove they said this I am £80 out of pocket after paying the joiner it was not his fault Very messed up and disorganised company and absolutely untrustworthy.

Poor quality, overpriced, awful customer service

Really poor quality items. Sizing doesn’t make sense and items arrived not as described. Contacted customer service who were rude and unhelpful. Had to pay £20 to return items not as described.

So disappointed.

Everything made in China not Canada?

Was in Toronto visiting from UK recently and thought I would buy something from OVO store. To my surprise everything I picked up and checked was made in China. I get how certain clothing companies products are made there which is fine, but you would think that this brand would keep manufacturing within Canada or at least within the rest of the Americas.

Unsub from mailing list and will never buy from them until they make their products closer to their country of origin.

Poor return policy

Poor return policy, staff did not inform me I could not return my purchase. Nothing on my receipt said final sale. Poor service. T-shirt is poor quality. All around very disappointed.

I purchased the ovo slides black a year…

I purchased the ovo slides black a year ago and I must say they are the absolute WORST the rubber they are made with are extremely hard and everytime you walk with them they literally rip the top of your big toe apart super uncomfortable and NOT worth the money. Wish I never purchased them.

Order Cancelled - Miserable Costumer Service!

I ordered a pair of shorts for my boyfriends birthday as he is a huge Drake fan just for it to be flagged and cancelled shortly afterwards. I simply received a generic explanation with p o t e n t i a l reasons as to why it got cancelled.

So I tried to reach out for Costumer Service because none of the possible reasons listed applied to me, only to get trapped in a loop of the same lackluster response over and over again.

"Please see the details in the email for steps to avoid this in happening in the future"

Fun fact: One of said "steps" says that apparently you are NOT allowed to order ANYTHING from a different address than the delivery address. Which is a little bit difficult once you try to buy a birthday gift for someone else.

Time to look for an alternative somewhere else instead! NEVER AGAIN.

I love Drake as an artist

I love Drake as an artist, but you would thing he would hire better staff to represent his clothing line. You could call the number a hundred times, and every employee that answers is either rude, incapable of holding a conversation, or make you feel like you shouldn’t be calling with questions. Do better OVO, or stick to the music thing. This experience was easily, The Worst I’ve Ever Had!😉 I went from, wanting to place an order, to yeah right real quick!

Then he uses the details of his fans to exploit there life, families, bank accounts then you can end up dead.. A lot of bodies.

Make your own decision, this is my review of Drake.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. No customer satisfaction whatsoever. Ordered 3 male t-shirts. Medium size is too long like a nightgown. Asked to have it returned. So many popular clothing online stores have return policy, ovo is final sale. They even charge for shipping..
They accepted a return, however to get a refund is a pain. They do not give refund back on the card. They provide with a code which can be used only online!!! What if I buy online again and it doesn’t fit??? Had to follow up as the merchandise was already returned and delivered but I still didn’t get the code. Not even tiny bit of being pleasant or helpful via email correspondence. Horrible!!! Very disappointed.
