Octopus is a good CRM to get started with and will save time in automating outreach activity on LinkedIn. The functionality is limited somewhat beyond basic potential.

As a LinkedIn Sales Navigator user, there is no way to utilise InMail credits within the Octopus tool. This is a shame as this would extend the capability across the whole of the LinkedIn platform and maximise opportunities for any growing business.

List and campaign management is fairly straight forward and is a useful feature, however I would like to see when my connections were last messaged (date/time) throughout the campaign so as to not 'over-message'. Currently you can only see when a lead was added for the first time.

Overall Octopus is useful with some frustrating lack of features which sees you having to juggle platforms to ensure a professional outcome. Hopefully these features are close in the development pipeline.

Purchased the annual plan once - BIG MISTAKE. The company oversells what the product actually does, so we stopped using it about 4 months into our annual plan. After we stopped using it, we unsubscribed but it didn't actually unsubscribe us because of the buggy interface. So 1 year later we got another $400+ charge from them, and the absolutely refused to refund it because we were "outside of their 24 hour refund policy". Looking deeper into the company, it's oblivious they are hiding their employees, have fake social proof and don't really care about their customers or product.

This plugin for LinkedIn is essential if you want to both grow and nurture your network.
The team at Octopus are so knowledgeable and helpful. The free trial is available for 7 days and no credit card is needed. The trial opens up all functionality, so you can assess what level you will need when you subscribe. The annual plans offer a great discount too, although the monthly plans are very reasonably priced as well.
They also offer a generous referral program once you have signed up.
I would highly recommend the product and the brilliant customer service.

I found Octupus challenging to setup and it was even hard to figure out how to purchase the right plan. The Octopus site is very sales-driven. So, when you return as a subscriber, you want to sign-in. I found this challenging. I love the LinkedIn integration but the initial experience was frustrating. I share this because I think the product/service has great promise.

Octopus CRM helped us to automatize and speed up the leads funnel from Linkedin. Amazing tool in B2B or B2C

I signed up for a subscription for sending 2000 email invites per month. Initially, this worked, however, 5 months into the annual subscription, I am unable to send out any email invites using Octopus CRM. Octopus is unable to supply a workaround to solve this problem. My request for a refund for the time I will not be able to use this CRM was declined.
I cannot recommend using Octopus CRM.

The software is amazing and the price point is affordable.
