Too many red flags
This company has all the red flags. Why would you hold someone's money and ask them to bring the senders ID. It's the sending bank's responsibility to carry out such checks.
As a sender, why would I send my ID (like passport) to a receiver who I may not even trust with my passport details.
Back to the verification, why is it taking a wee to carry out basic verification that other companies complete in 5 minutes.

You lack a streamlined process …and customer service oriented
How do you deal with a customer for about 5 years and then start reviewing the person. Does it mean you lack transparency, integrity and accountability before approving a customer / client for transaction in the first place.
Other agencies carry out review for regulatory purposes from the on set. Then after you carried out the review, just few months ago (28 May 2025), I sent another money today (5 Sep 2025), you started carrying out review again, causing loses and emergency 🆘 to the people who ought to have received and use the money.
Yet, you do not have a complaint mechanism or process because I complained last but you did not follow it up or process it.
Why do you hold your customers hostage or to ransom unnecessarily.

Your service used to be quick and efficient but it’s now taking longer time, especially when the money is needed urgently. This could be frustrating. This needs to be addressed. I am not happy.

I’m sharing this to protect others. OhentPay has been holding my money with no resolution for weeks. Every time I contact them, I get vague timelines like “up to 15 or 35 business days,” and then silence — no proper update, no release of funds.
They keep sending me marketing emails while refusing to resolve my case. I’ve provided what I can, and they keep moving the goalposts.
If you're thinking of opening an account with them — DON'T.
No transparency. No urgency. No accountability.
I'm reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman and FCA. If you’re having the same issue, don’t stay silent.

The transaction fee wasn't visible up…
The transaction fee wasn't visible up until I have transferred money. Upon seeing a transaction fee of £1.99, I tried withdrawing my money back into my pounds account but couldn't. I finally continued with the transaction after which I deleted the App.
