Weekend Transfer Delays
Unfortunately Ohentpay weekend transfers are too delay prone.I have experience thus severally in the past till now.
I sent monet on Friday morning and by Monday the following week the money is yet to hit the recipient account. The annoying thing is that nobody provides explanations to you while this is so.

I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this app. I used it for sometime, in 2022 and 2023, they had a good service. But since 2024, they have the worst level of service. They are unpredictable, they're not honest, and they're inconsistent.
They most annoying part is demanding you to provide series of annoying documentations. Requesting for for bank statement, residents card etc, when they know they're having cash crunch, and have no need of these documentation.
They're not running an honest business. They have internal crisis and this is a risk to your funds.
It is better to declare you will deliver the funds in 4 days than asking for documents that is not required to enable you buy time. This is fraud!
Use them with caution and the risk in mind!

As a response to your point, I want to believe that you do not receive these requirements randomly. If you wish to know your customers, I reckon you request these updates from them when ahead and not wait till they initiate transactions. I suppose this is part of KYC, your customers have the app and can receive updates if you see the need yo review and verify them.
It's disheartening to commit a timing for delivery of funds, make your customers consequently plan with that and come up with explanations for bad results. 85% of the people sending money through this app have urgent need for it and are time bound.... your reasons for the delay is not acceptable, it is against your commitment and you need to deliver a global service that keeps your reputation.... verify your customers before they initiate transactions if you want me to believe it's not cash flow issues!

Avoid this app!! They withhold transactions
Please do not use this app. They have held my money for 4 days. They keep telling people they are processing it immediately, but 4 days later my funds are still unprocessed. Now they say they will refund my funds, but it will take 5 days for them to return the money. Thye blamed my bank but my bank denied that it takes so long. I do not not trusting them about the money refund!! This is fraud, they are gambling with people's money. Careful if you are sending money for Christmas, your family will not receive it.
They used to be good but since October they started to have problems-look at when the bad reviews started
Something they are doing with the money is not legitimate or they are not honest of their financial difficulties.

I made a huge mistake of using this app before checking the reviews. It has been more than 12 hours and the status of my transfer is still processing. Customer service is poor and I’m being kept out the loop of what’s going on. This is the last time I’m using this service.

For the past 48hrs ohent pay was holding my pounds, they kept telling me very soon they would resolve the issue but it took them 72hrs to rectify the issue, the matter has been resolved my money has been paid into my naira account and they apologised for the delay they were having due to technical issues.

They keep lieing about delays in transfer in Nigeria when there is none inorder to hold on to people's fund. What colour of wickedness is this?
Stay away from this company if you don't want to lose sleep over your hard earned money. I wish I had come here to read the recent reviews before using the app.

Ohent pay app worse platform ever
I had high hopes for the Ohent pay app, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The app was slow and glitchy, making it difficult to complete transactions. The worse customer service i have ever encounter, very rude and lack demenor. If you put in a complain, you will be blocked and unable to send messages. Overall, I would not recommend using this app for your payment needs. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration. The company needs to be shut down immediately.

You are a TERRIBLE BUSINESS and should be closed down immediately. I am a new customer and my sister helped to send money to Nigeria since Friday and payment is still processing. It's not 11am today, the payment is still processing. What time of incapable business are you running. Guys use LEMFI instead, they're more reliable. If I knew my payment will take forever, would've stuck to LEMFI.

OhentPay is not reliable if you need…
OhentPay is not reliable if you need funds for emergencies. I have used their service for several years now, and I can say they are inconsistent. Some days, funds arrive within minutes; on other days, it takes several days to complete a transaction.
My most recent experience was the final straw for me. I urgently needed to transfer money and used OhentPay on a Saturday morning. Hours later, my bank account still had not been credited. When I reached out to their customer support via the chat option, I only received generic, copy-pasted responses. The lack of empathy was glaring—it felt like I was chatting with a bot on auto-response.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, but the agent ignored me completely. It’s beyond frustrating that a company would expect customers to wait until Monday for a resolution to an issue with a Saturday transaction. At the very least, they should offer an option to cancel the transaction and refund the money immediately!
My verdict on OhentPay: Not reliable if you need cash urgently or value consistent service

Fast service, good Help on the chat too
I've been using Ohentpay for transactions from UK to Nigeria for over a year now and find them very responsive on their chat when the transaction is taking longer than expected to go through. The time it takes varies but averages a few hours. Having said that, I've just made a payment from UK into a Nigerian account and it literally took seconds, it went immediately.
Ohentpay are a very good service, my family uses it and I recommend it to others. I trust it very much.
