I’ve been using this platform for over 10 years, and I’ve never seen it in such poor condition.

Listings now require constant updates every two days, and they’re barely visible unless you pay. Over the past year, the management has clearly declined, driving many genuine users away. As a result, the platform is now flooded with fake accounts and scammers.

They’ve also removed seller ratings, which used to help build trust, making it even harder to know who’s legitimate.

What’s most concerning is that scammers seem to operate freely without any real consequences. Overall, the platform feels completely mismanaged and unreliable.

I would strongly advise others to stay away.

The website acts like its run by North Korea or high-security prison. It's terrible, limits are low, you can't do anything as free user, you get like 1 ad per 30 days, its absolutely atrocious experience. I wanted to sell 2 old perfumes, i got limited of selling 1 only lol how is this a thing in 2026?

Need updates every two days. Listings aren't visible to people unless you pay. Most users left the platform because of the atrocious managing of it for the past year or so and because of that it's full with fake accounts and scammers. They removed seller's ratings. Overall whoever got ahold of this platform managed to destroy it completely. I've been using the platform for more than 10 years - it has never been this bad.

This platform allows the scammers to freely operate , no consequences , stay away!

It has a lot of activity, good chat function. If you have a general sense of internet security it's fine. Leaving a review for sellers is unreliable as it appears at random times and if you're busy with something else and skip it you can't go back. There's plenty of scammers on the platform.

Avoid paid promotions at all costs! The service regularly overcharges your payment method, the claimed visibility is totally made up and arbitrary!

24+ hours to MANUALLY approve a listing.

They take 24 hours to "approve" and "display" your ad, even when you pay them money for said ad. They MANUALLY have to APPROVE EVERY LISTING you UPLOAD, EVEN IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS 20+ YEARS OLD. This "criminalizes" you even if you are an honest user from 20+ years!

Speaking of "pay", they do not offer anymore free listings. You have to pay, and you have to wait 24 hours. This destroys any integrity that was left.

If you use OLX, you support their disgusting behavior and enable them to continue to cause harm to sellers, as well as just do whatever they want.

There is no sense in using OLX in 2025. The only reason they are still in business is because there are some people/companies that continue to pump them full of money. If they lose business, they will think twice.

I have been using this site for 20+ years, before this disgusting company took over even, and now is the worst time that there was.

It makes zero sense for them to hold your listing hostage for 24 hours and then when you contact them for help, for them to throw sand in your eyes.

Do yourself a huge favor, save your money and stress, and do not use this disgusting site, ran by people who have no idea in what year we live.

OLX.bg is the go-to platform for buying and selling second-hand items in Bulgaria. It's incredibly active, and I've successfully bought and sold numerous things, from furniture to electronics. The messaging system works well, and it's generally quite reliable for local transactions. Just remember to meet in a safe, public place for exchanges.

The site protects cheating sellers selling fake products.

The site doesn't provide consumer protection and allows random people to sell their stolen or fake belongings lying that they are original. There is no protection offered by the company OLX when users are cheated and no option to return and get a refund. Consumers are left to deal with the scammers alone, which is a lost cause.

The site does not work well, hides my contact information , and deletes photos from the ad. It looks like a site where everyone can pay to hide the ad of someone they don't like

Vorsicht ist geboten ! Registriert, mit Verkäufer Kontakt aufgenommen, Kauf kommt zu stande und schwupps ist der Account gesperrt, keine Chance mehr, sich mit dem Verkäufer in Verbindung zu setzen. Geld weg, keine Ware.
