Great paint but no returns accepted
The paint was great but I didn't realise the size of the 750ml tin would be so small. I called to try and send it back and order the 2.5l instead but they wouldn't accept returns even though the tin was unopened and undamaged. It was a shame so used the paint anyway and it was great, and good quality. I would order again just be extra sure that the colour and tin size is what you need as I didn't realise I would be stung that way!

Dear Gemma,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review.
We really do appreciate your comments, it is always so lovely to hear positive feedback and we are delighted you are pleased with the high quality of Paint and Paper Library paint.
We are sorry that you are unhappy with our returns policy. At Paint and Paper Library every tin is made to order, so when you place your order with us the paint finish is handpicked by one of our dedicated team members and tinted to the colour that you have ordered. In turn our customers can rest assured that the paint is fresh in the can and that we are actively trying to lower our environmental footprint by only tinting the colours that are required.
Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.

Update: I appreciate that it may not have been Paint and Paper Library's fault about delivery time, but it still meant I had to look elsewhere rather than consider their palate.
Whilst I'm pleased to hear that in-depth information can be found in the Colour Atlas, which sounds ideal, I'm somewhat dismayed that one has to pay for this item in order to judge properly whether the colours might be right for the job. To pay for something prior to deciding on a service seems odd?🤔
However, I'm glad to hear that the colour card is an accurate representation of the colours and can be relied upon for one's intial assessment.
Took ages for the sample card to arrive, so I had already had to select colours elsewhere.
No information about the colours or how they would sit with other colours or orientation of the room, so difficult to visualise them in situ. As tester pots can add up, I'd appreciate some more info beforehand.

Dear Valerie,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and I am very sorry to hear you have had a very poor experience with our delivery service on this occasion.
The Colour Card does provide the truest representation of the colour itself and we do offer suggested pairings on our website. We also have a Colour Atlas available to purchase, where you can explore the Paint & Paper Library palette. Each page provides suggestions of contemporary and classic combinations from our colour experts for each shade within the palette.

Architects eggshell is comfortably the worst paint I’ve ever used, and the most expensive! Takes 4-5 coats to provide a decent cover over primer and finish isn’t hard wearing. Save yourself time and money and get a similar colour from Dulux or Valspar Premium

Super range of paint colours and excellent quality paint.
Rather more expensive than some other ranges, but the quality I think is worthwhile.

Nice paint but sample pots too dear
I’ve ordered a number of small pots for colour testing before ordering. No complaints about the quality and the speed of sending them, but I do feel these are expensive for what they are. Why not some sort of voucher to use against the purchase of the main order, which would serve to deter people from taking the mickey if the price were cheaper and ordering too many, and at the same time encourage genuine purchasers. Too much paint anyway for a wee test patch, very wasteful. And the cost? Enough for a meal out for a family of 4
