Post sale customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Bought a handbag liner that was completely the wrong shape and poor fit for the given style of bag. I returned it in a timely manner, and paid special delivery as per the t&c’s with a note and covering email stating it was unfit for purpose. I sent a further two emails requesting a refund of postage due to my reasons for return.
The response from the owner was argumentative, disrespectful and very unprofessional. Her reasons for refusing the refund were personal and completely unrelated to consumer law. I found the response completely unreasonable. I was astonished that she’d risk her reputation and credibility over such a low ticket item.
I won’t be intimidated by threats of reporting me for defamation as a result of poor reviews. Such action has also done nothing for her credibility in my opinion. I had a poor product and poor experience of Papillonkia’s customer service, as such I’m entitled to share that experience.
