Absolutely delighted!
We have used Patio Black Spot Remover over a number of years and have obtained excellent results. However, this year we decided to use the professional cleaning service that the company offers, with perfect results. Our driveway looks as if it has been newly laid; not a black spot to be seen and the original colours of the driveway pavers have been restored. Absolutely delighted with both the product and the service.

Excellent service, patios look like new
Lewis (Louis?) arrived very promptly and was courteous and thorough throughout. I cannot believe how good the patios (three) look - they are as new and they were installed 11 years ago.

Dear Simon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
We are glad to hear that you were able to remove most of the black spots after one treatment. For more ingrained black spots, multiple treatments are needed. We would recommend spot treating the areas that still have black spots, this should then remove all the remaining spots.
If we can be of any further assistance or you would like to give any feedback on how to improve the service furthermore please contact us directly.

Spectacular result!
Mike, who treated our patio, couldn't have been more helpful. He carefully moved all the pots we couldn't manage and replaced everything perfectly afterwards. Our sandstone patio now looks brand new, a spectacular result, and we're really pleased. Mike went the extra mile and even cleaned our lovely old birdbath.

Dear James,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
The first treatment will also restore the colour of the stone. However, if the stone is older than 6 years old most of the time it will need re-treating to remove stubborn black spots. The older the stone, the more applications will be required. This is why we recommend the trial slab on the instruction label to check how many applications will be required to remove all the spots.
The application is also important to achieve the best results. The stone must be saturated with a sprayer for the product to work. If the product is spread too thinly, the performance will be negatively affected.
We would recommend you pick the worst affected slab and treat this until no spots remain. You only need to wait 1 hour when re-treating, not two weeks at a time. Please feel free to send us over some photos of the area to support@pbsr.co.uk, we can then confirm the product will remove the staining you have on your patio.
Many thanks,
The PBSR Team

I was not that impressed as the video…
I was not that impressed as the video description was very good that’s why I chose the product, but, my results were not that good, I jet washed the patio first to clear surface grime, then applied the product waited a couple of hours then jet washed again, yes it removed some but still have areas that show the black spot, should I do another application?

Dear David,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Heavily affected areas will require more than one application to achieve the best results. As per the video you watched prior to purchasing the product, we do re-treat the stone in this video also.
Yes, , we would recommend you re-treat the areas where black spot remains. Pick the worst slab you have an treat this until no spots remain. You will then have the confidence the product works and know how much product is required to treat the remaining area.
Please ensure the stone is dry when you apply the product and the slab is saturated with a 5-7 litre pump up sprayer for the best results.
The older the stone, the more applications will be required.
If you wish to send some photos of the area to support@pbsr.co.uk, we can confirm that the product will remove the staining you are trying to remove.
Many thanks,
The PBSR Team

We are delighted to hear that you are happy with our Patio Black Spot Remover for Block Paving and the results on your patio.
We would recommend re-treating the areas that still have white spots showing, as these are quite stubborn and can need more than one treatment to remove. White spots can also sometimes leave a slight 'shadow' behind.
If we can be of any further assistance or you would like to give any feedback on how to improve the service furthermore please contact us directly.

Product worked well
Product worked well, had to spray some stubborn black spot twice but on the second spray it completely removed the black spot. Stone now looks really good.

Absolute miracle worker!
I wish I could submit photos as they speak for themselves! I tried everything on our sandstone pavers (that had been neglected for 5 years and had gone black), however the best I could get was grey and covered in black spots. After one really easy treatment they were much better, so I knew it was working. I didn’t even have to scrub them. After the second treatment they looked brand new! The yellow and orange colour came back and no one can believe the difference. I can not recommend this product enough!

We used the product ourselves initially but soon realised it was going to take more than 1 application so we reached out for Patio Black Spot to come and do it for us.
