Pest Solutions Avis 

I paid £175 for pest-control treatment for a mouse problem in my home. Unfortunately, I don't feel the service I received justified anything close to that amount.

I was told that a UV tracking powder/system would be used to help establish where the mouse was travelling and that I would receive help identifying and closing possible entry points. Neither of these things happened.

Instead, a few basic traps were put down, similar to inexpensive traps readily available online. On subsequent visits, the interaction largely consisted of knocking on the door, asking whether anything had happened, and then leaving. I did not see any meaningful investigation into where the mouse was entering or travelling, no UV tracking as promised, and no proofing of the entry points.

Eventually, the visits simply stopped while I was still left with the mouse problem.
The most frustrating part is that I ultimately caught the mouse myself using talc powder to identify its travel route and traps that I purchased and placed myself. I then identified and closed the travel point myself.

I completely understand that pest control cannot guarantee that a mouse will be caught immediately, and I would not leave a negative review simply because a mouse wasn't caught straight away. My issue is that I paid £175 for what I understood would be a professional service involving investigation, tracking and assistance with entry points, but in my experience those services were not delivered.
Had I known the service would essentially amount to putting down a few basic traps, I would not have paid £175.

Based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this service.

The customer service was great. Max came out first thing the day after I called. He was very professional and gave me clear thorough explanations of what he’d found and the potential options.

In my case no treatment was required and he recommended just keeping an eye out for any changes, no hard sell on expensive treatments.

I had a small problem with fleas when moving into old house. Called out pet solutions and they were fantastic. Michael was so knowledgeable and put my mind at rest.Now completely flea free!! Thanks again Michael!!!

Disappointed and Misled by Pest Solutions

I contacted Pest Solutions regarding a persistent rat issue in my home. I explained that I had already been using traps, poison, and steel wool to block entry points, but the rats continued to return, creating new holes and reappearing in my kitchen.

I spoke with Adam from the North East office, who gave a confident and persuasive sales pitch. He assured me that their team would identify hidden entry points, use professional-grade poison and traps, and seal holes — all included in a comprehensive four-week treatment plan. He made the service sound thorough and exceptional, which led me to agree to the quoted cost of £360.

The initial customer service was smooth: I received a call from the technician with an estimated arrival time, followed by a text when they were en route. The technician who arrived was polite and friendly. However, during our conversation, it became clear that the proposed treatment was no different from what I had already been doing myself. Aside from slightly stronger poison, there was no added value or unique approach. There was also no mention of the four-week plan that had been promised.

Feeling misled, I chose not to proceed with the service. Despite this, I was charged £108 for the callout — even though no treatment was carried out. I was not informed beforehand that this fee would apply regardless of whether I went ahead with the plan. Had I known, I would not have agreed to the visit.

In my opinion, this was a costly and disappointing experience. If you're dealing with a similar issue, you may be better off purchasing traps, poison, and steel wool yourself — it certainly won’t cost you £360

I recently had a mouse problem which needed to be resolved asap due to serious health conditions. Searching the internet this company had terrific reviews which, on reflection were very accurate.
One phone call explained my particular needs and the urgency it had to be attended.
Next day their representative a most personable human being. Max introduced himself (along with Thomas his assistant on the day) after explaining where and how I felt the problem was, Max (and Thomas) waisted no time and when done had wire meshed up probable problem areas, laid out series of traps and poison (under floorboards).
Thorough, professional tidy and polite.
There followed as per contract other visits over next couple of weeks when Max his professional self methodically checked and rechecked everything
Suffice to say, have had zero recurrence of rodents, and would not hesitate to award well deserved 5 Star review

Great Service from Pest Solutions!

Had a mice problem and called Pest Solutions—so glad I did! They came out for a two-part visit, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free.

On the first visit, Sam and Rron checked out the house, found where the mice were getting in, and set up traps and bait. Super knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. On the second visit, they checked the traps, removed the mice, and sealed up the entry points.

Since then, no more mice! Really happy with the service—professional, friendly, and got the job done. Would definitely recommend!

Five stars for Michael and Iain's professional, efficient and caring service in dealing with a wasps nest right at my front door! The visit was arranged quickly and on the day of the visit I was talked through the process and next steps including follow up treatment, if required, which it wasn't. Small things make a big difference, such as putting my plant pot back in place after it was moved for access. Thank you both, 100% recommend.

These guys are the bees knees. I had a company previously before them come out they did an awful job as still had problems. So when I called PS they were so knowledgeable and understanding. Manager came out did evaluation and sprayed same day. After first treatment I noticed a difference right away. A week later they came back out to just make sure as still had little issue. And they even said if I need a third it would no hassle. So far all is very calm and peaceful and I feel I have my Home back. Thank you very much guys. I would thoroughly recommend these guys. Don’t go with anyone else

We contacted Pest Solutions Glasgow they sent out someone to assess the situation they then sent technicians out who were very knowledgeable and they went out of there way to solve the problem and we were very grateful for everything they have done we will definitely recommend them .

I found 2 mice under my bed and for someone that has a phobia of them it was terrifying and very upsetting for me. I contacted my letting agency who contacted my landlord and pest solutions came out. I live in Aberdeen and I dealt with a woman called Natasha. She was friendly and very reassuring that the mouse problem would get sorted. She came back a total of 4 visits and the traps she set worked and they caught the mice. Natasha took pictures of the exit points after walking round the house on the final visit and told me where the mice were coming in from and the exit points would need to be dealt with or this problem would happen again, at some point. She took pictures of the exit points to show me then said she would give a report to my letting agency with the pictures. She was brilliant from start to finish. Pest solutions are a great company and I would definitely recommend.

Great service from the team at the office and Kevin who came out to deal with our field mouse issue. Prompt, discrete, always arrived when they said they would and kept us informed along the way. No hesitation in recommending.

I would have given 4.5 stars for the only reason they killed the mice and I would have preferred if they had taken them somewhere else and let them go.
However, initial phone call explained that it was better to have a swift end rather than taking them out of their environment and have the cats, fox, birds get them.
