We have a total of 5 warehouses dotted around the UK (mostly in the south of England) with large stock reserves to meet our customer’s needs. A whelping box, also known as a birthing box, whelping pen and nesting box is used in order to protect the puppies after the whelping process is completed and during the early stages of life when they are most vulnerable. The whelping box keeps them safely contained away from the cold, most whelping boxes also contain rails or poles around the lower edges of which we get asked all the time what these are for and the short answer is they stop the mother crushing the puppies up against the sides of the box which could cause the puppies to become suffocated as well as being crushed.
At petnap we sell 2 types of nesting boxes, Disposable Cardboard and Reusable Plastic whelping boxes. Both of these boxes will cope with the duration of the whelping process normally around 6 to 8 weeks before they then move on to a more suitable environment like a play pen as they become ever more adventurous. We stock 5 sizes in both types giving you plenty of choice as also have heavy duty plastic versions in our large 2 sizes.

Petnap weighing scales
Purchased Petnap weighing scales for my newborn puppies. Had forgotten to review, am about to use again & wanted to say how pleased I am with them.
The scales are adjustable to use in ozs or grams (I still use oz). At least that part of weighing newborn pups is easy!
Also ordered a spare adaptor for their heatpad as it is still going strong, but I had lost the adaptor. Did not have to buy another complete heatpad
Have also had help from their customer service both via email & telephone.
Excellent company with great customer service. Now going back for downloadable record keeping paperwork.
Couldn't set date was 12/2/22
They deserve the review, even if late.

Easy to order and fast delivery. Was worried the pad didn't feel warm enough but it works to the pups body weight and has kept them safely warm. Highly recommend this heat pad

Whelping Box…
I bought a whelping box for my American cocker spaniel who is due in a weeks time. I called Petnap for additional information seeing I live in Italy and needed the whelping box to arrive fast which it did and I was also given excellent information in regards to my order. So highly recommended.
