A whelping box, also known as a birthing box, whelping pen and nesting box is used in order to protect the puppies after the whelping process is completed and during the early stages of life when they are most vulnerable. The whelping box keeps them safely contained away from the cold, most whelping boxes also contain rails or poles around the lower edges of which we get asked all the time what these are for and the short answer is they stop the mother crushing the puppies up against the sides of the box which could cause the puppies to become suffocated as well as being crushed.
At petnap we sell 2 types of nesting boxes, Disposable Cardboard and Reusable Plastic whelping boxes. Both of these boxes will cope with the duration of the whelping process normally around 6 to 8 weeks before they then move on to a more suitable environment like a play pen as they become ever more adventurous. We stock 5 sizes in both types giving you plenty of choice as also have heavy duty plastic versions in our large 2 sizes.

Impressive and efficient service, great product
Heat pad is well made and does exactly what it says it does. I. had made 2 orders as had forgotten to add on a product. Petnap picked this up and refunded my second postage without being asked. All arrived very promptly. Highly recommend

feeding tube kit
I purchased the feeding tube kit before my puppy was born. At 3 weeks he suddenly stopped nursing. He refused the bottle, and trying to give him one drop at a time was also unsuccessful. I had no choice but to tube feed him. The feeding tube worked great. I like the system with the special syringe. It saved my puppy's life!

A very happy cat recommends this company
This a reliable company who we have bought from several times in the past, and have never had any problems. The products are good quality and after sales service is excellent.
Due to Postal Strikes, the item ordered this time was late arriving. I was in communication with the company after the first week, and was very satisfied with their responses.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again & can't recommend them highly enough.
My cat is very happy with his new heated pad.

Excellent
Purchased from Petnap for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. Was very happy with the service I received and delivery time was also very quick I received my parcel the next day after ordering which has become a-bit of a rarity in this day and age.
I haven’t breed before so I needed a bit of advise on one of the items I brought so I had to call them, I spoke with Sarah who was extremely helpful thank you.

PETNAP AVOID AT ALL COST …
I found petnap attitude very un-professional and immature when I tried to order 2 whelping boxes.
Due to some confusion with extra charges that were blamed on PayPal I said I would look elsewhere, unfortunately petnap are the only company that make this type of whelping box so I decided to order them anyway but petnap refused to accept my order with no reasonable explanation
Further research led me to a company in sunderland I was delighted and thank petnap for being so unprofessional and petty and lacking any sort of customer care.
I bought whelping boxes from the company in sunderland, a far superior product, a company that was a pleasure to deal with..... avoid childish petnap at all costs
I am now getting emails from trustpilot about petnap disputing my experience I have submitted every email to trustpilot had to edit my review as I named the company I bought from obviously the competition let's see what this pathetic company come up with next

Hello to everyone reading this review,
It was left by someone calling himself Dean North, or he may be using another name currently like Michael Fairweather as he appears to use aliases.
It is very hypocritical of him to call us childish and immature, when he seems to leave quite few negative reviews for companies as a bit of a hobby and fun.
By our counting he placed 7 different orders with us on various different sites including Amazon, eBay and our own website, he then asked us to cancel and refund each of these orders within minutes of him placing them.
We have absolutely no idea what his intentions are/were and he is not known to us in anyway, but his behaviour is certainly far from normal, in fact it’s quite ironic that he says we are childish when he has acted in this way and continues to portray this disingenuous behaviour!
We are delighted that he has decided to move on to his next victim in Sunderland, of whom we know pretty well ourselves, we have already contacted them to pass on our condolences and to wish them luck.
He says he has purchased a far superior product from this other company, although their product is twice the price of ours how he is comparing the 2 is a mystery as he has clearly stated that he didn’t actually buy anything from us. How can he compare 2 items when he only has 1 of them in his possession.
We have contacted Trustpilot about this individual but Trustpilot being Trustpilot they are not interested which isn’t uncommon for them.
What an asset this person is to Trustpilot and indeed the world!

I am really sorry to hear this.
I have checked on your order and can’t see that you have contacted us at any stage to check on this? Apologise if you have but nothing received.
Unfortunately unless you let us know there is a problem with the delivery we very rarely would find out.
To confirm your order was despatched from us with in 24 working hours of you placing it, however since that time there has been 4 days of postal strikes and Black Friday which we are assuming is the reason for the delay.
Since the start of the postal strikes we have been offering an alternative postal service on our website via courier at a slightly high delivery charge. Although there is no requirement to use this service we advise via a pop up notice on our site that to avoid customers waiting to long for their items due to the postal strikes they can use this service. It appears however you haven’t selected this option even with the pop up warning notice.
Update 15/12/2022:
We have been monitoring the delivery of your order and can see it was delivered several days ago now. We are sorry for the delay but I think we have covered that in our first reply.

Best purchase ever for my cat
My 15yrs old cat is suffering from stiff joints and is also very clingy. This heated bed has been our best purchase ever for him. It's pleasantly heated, it gives him a safe and comfortable space to nap on and the bed fits very will in our office, so he's close to us whilst we work
