Pieminister Avis 

We have been eating Pieminister pies since we discovered them on Borough Market many years ago.
Although I don't love all their flavours, there are a couple that we buy regularly, either from the supermarket or ordered by post.
I just freeze them and oven cook from frozen when we want an easy meal (55 min, 180°C).
The postal service works well, with recyclable packaging, although I wish I could repurpose the ice packs. Now that I have a few of those, any from further orders I cut up to bin.
We love Heidi, Freeranger and Moo, and my husband, who can't eat dairy, really likes the Mooless Moo. You can find all their pies and ingredients online.
I would love it if they did a meaty, but dairy free pie, but they already deliver various options for people with allergies, so we can't complain.
I am shocked by a few of the negative reviews here; one about email request of ingredients (are all online), one about missing tokens on boxes (that is a really petty reason for a one star review).
In general, we find the pie quality high and very consistent with lovely flavours.
With my son's help, we may at some point earn the electric guitar through tokens.

Sadly it's just terrible it has a horrible sickly taste and they aren't cheap I really wanted to like it but probably the wise pie I have ever tasted!

Easily ordered, quick to arrive and in good condition. Best gluten free pies on market. Got fed up with supermarkets not stocking so ordered directly.

These are great pies. Ordered a mix of gluten and non-gluten pies and all excellent. The non-gluten eater said they were the best they have ever had.
Well packed with ice packs still semi-frozen on arrival.

I ordered (online) 12 pies (three types) because I'm so impressed. They are bit more expensive than other pies on offer, but the quality/taste was the deciding factor. I work for Morrisons and could get employee discount to equal the price... but we don't stock all of the varieties.

This is the second time I’ve bought pies online from Pieminister. I’ve been a fan of your pies for years, but this latest gluten free cheese pie is outstanding 🙌🏻. The pies arrived perfectly chilled and sat in the box all day safely. My only issue is with the delivery which both times has been left on my doorstep on the high street. I’ve had to frantically organise for a neighbour to take them in. Some more notice as to when they are coming would be useful. I don’t thin lk the delivery people should be just leaving £50 of pies in the sun on my doorstep when I haven’t answered the door - both times I’ve had to go out for the day and missed the delivery. Otherwise I love your brand, love your pies (as a GF person they are a total winner) and your website is easy to use. I will keep buying from you.

Excellent filo pies. Delicious and way to make a nice light meal with. Wish there was a local stockist!

I ordered 12 pies online. 4 x Heidi and 8 x Big Cheese. The Heidi pies were in retail boxes, so we got a VIPie token on each one. However, the Big cheese pies were in 2 brown outer boxes ( 4 in each), so we didn't receive any tokens.
We already had 3 tokens and with the 12 I thought we'd receive on this order, we were going to order the 2 pie dishes for 15 tokens. I contacted Customer Services ( Kellie) and she said the Big cheese pies had been for Pie Week in their own shops, so they didn't have the retail boxes ready. In other words " tough luck"! I did say that there was no mention on their website that their wouldn't be any tokens on the Big cheese pies, so at the very least they should state that. We would have ordered different pies had we known. Leaves a nasty taste!

Ordered pies from yourselves twice, the pies themselves lovely and packed well, however, no email was sent on either occasion to say the package had been dispatched, then the delivery driver just left the parcel on the doorstep and left. Luckily, I was home. Which has left me wary of ordering again.

Bought loads of gluten free vegetarian pies for home cooking and they are lush! So well packed too I’ll be coming back for sure to get my wheat less pastry fix.

Spend 13£ on pie, mash and garden peas and gravey. I found the food bland and the portions tiny. The gravey was just bisto etc. Hard wooden uncomfortable seats. No hot drinks or soda water available because of "plumbing issue" Pathetic.

Fast delivery, packed well

Ordered an apron on the 26th February. Despite chasing, it has never arrived.

We eat your pies in this house, because you do very nice tasting gluten free pies (its the best pastry out there). We both tolerate them well (A lot of digestive issues in this house). We tried the big cheese pies last night and my dad who follows a low FOD map diet, even managed to not have any issues, always a concern when we try new food..... Thank you. Please keep adding gluten free options.

Okay - I have only been to Leeds Pieminister - but totally reccomend pie, mash and a pint. Food excellent, quick service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

I have had a number of pies from Pieminister and they have all been exceptional. My recent order was for a pack of 4 The Big Cheese and oh my word it was delicious so cheesy and I could taste the cider I highly recommend them and will be ordering another box of 4 very soon.

When catering for quite a few people of varying tastes I find pieminister pies are the answer. I only buy vegan or vegetarian and they are excellent. They are a tad expensive but well worth it for a treat.

My favourite pie is steak and kidney. Bought a Pieminister and never spent so much on a pie but thought I would give myself a treat. What a waste of money; how disappointed I was; will never buy that make again. The steak and kidney was cooked well and not chewy but insufficient gravy making it such dry eating. The lid was hard and inedible. I put it on a par with Pukka so will stick to Ginsters in future; lovely pies and slices with much more realistic prices.

Bought on a friend’s recommendation and didn’t disappoint. I’ve eaten two which were really tasty and the pie was full. Excellent
