Please people, for your sanity, beware in using this cheese company. I am over 80, have my marbles but I have suffered so much bad service from these people, it has knocked my confidence in ever dealing online again. I ordered what appeared to be a great offer of 20 cheese barrels for £35. I paid via World PayPal and then....nothing. No acknowledgement of my order,no idea of delivery date...zilch. 8 days passed without contact, I wrote emails, 5 in fact before any information was provided. Delivery was imminent, today 18/12 in fact. 10 of the 20 cheeses arrived in a soggy cardboard box, hopelessly inadequately packaged. Of the 10 cheeses 6 of them were best before 18.10.25 without any prior warning by the way. The others had a decent date of 4/26. I emailed again and currently, as I write this, no explanation has been offered as to the whereabouts of the missing 10.
It has been a total disaster, customer service of the lowest standard, unacceptable. This company has been trading for some time and you would have expected a far more professional service. I urge everyone to be wary before making any purchases in the future. I certainly will avoid like the plague.

Great choice of flavours. Unfortunately this time the package was squashed and the cheeses were damaged. Customer services were great, they apologised for the inconvenience and asked if I would send some pictures. They then arranged for replacements to be sent immediately. When the replacements arrived they were in perfect condition. I will definitely be using again as the cheese is tasty and customer service was excellent

So the cheese itself is great, nice range of flavours and good quality - no issues there. The company itself however, not so much. I’ve been buying these cheeses every year for at least fifteen years for entertaining at Christmas and the last two have been really poor - incorrect orders, missing items, failed discount codes, errors with posting out and not particularly nice customer service advisors responding to emails with patronising disinterest. My very strong advice to anyone wanting to purchase from this company is to visit the shop in Lincoln and buy in person, and if you can’t, look for another small family business to support instead.

do not buy from this company they have cost me 1000s of pounds this Christmas not sending my stock over and over, i sell cheese hampers and last 5 days was totally out of stock because they never sent all stock but said all send acusing me of my address is unsafe and that i got full delivery like I was dishonest,, I have never lost delivered stock, it is very stressful dealing with a thoughtless company, they said all send, so i spoke to DHL and my neighbour reseved half the order and i had to acuss him of theft and with police and a court case, now neighbour do not like me and will not take more delivery and we had a good understanding helping each other, 30 days later lymn bank farm admitted they never sent the stock, lying about delivery and still want me to wait 10 days for repayment total of 42 days to get my money back, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THERE IGNORANT AND DO NOT CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS just put phone down on you, days to contact them do not answer phone, text or email if you have a problem, AVOID you will loss money, buy from chuckling cheese there a company that keep there word and do not lie, buy from any body but lymn bank farm
