Delivery was also very fast, arrived sooner than expected. I was actually pleasantly surprised because I received an even better spec than I originally ordered, which was a really nice bonus. Setup was easy and the PC worked perfectly out of the box. Overall, very smooth process and I’m satisfied with the purchase.
After some time of using the laptop
After some time of using the laptop, I did run into a problem, which at first was a bit worrying because you never know how warranty support will actually go in real life. But in this case, I was genuinely impressed with how everything was handled by Powerimp. I contacted their support and the response was quick. They offered remote support, which made the whole process much easier and faster, no need to send the laptop anywhere or wait for weeks. The technician Ed connected remotely and started checking the issue step by step. Everything was explained in a simple and clear way, not too technical, so I could follow what was happening. The problem itself was diagnosed quite fast and fixed during the same session. What I liked the most is that it didn’t feel rushed or careless him actually made sure everything was working properly before finishing. The whole experience felt smooth and professional. Overall, the warranty service was handled very well. Quick response, efficient solution, and no unnecessary delays. It gave me more confidence in buying from them again, because you can see they actually support you even after the purchase.

For Christmas I purchased laptop for my partner from Power Electronics. He kept saying his old laptop is slow, games lag, everything takes ages. so I just thought ok, let’s get something better and be done with it. Picked this gaming laptop, checked a few things online, looked good enough and that was it. When he started using it, first thing I noticed silence. Not from the laptop, from him. Before it was always something wrong, now just sits there, plays, works, no complaining. That alone already tells a lot. He did explain a bit, something about stronger CPU and graphics, more cores, better performance. I didn’t follow everything, but I get the main point it just works properly now. Games run smooth, no freezing, no weird issues like before. He uses it a lot, not just gaming. And it keeps up. No crashes, no wait give me a minute moments. It just does what it’s supposed to do. Yeah, it gets hot sometimes and fans are loud, but apparently that’s normal, so fine. I was more worried it might start having problems after some time, but so far nothing. Still running same as at the start. Honestly I didn’t expect much, just didn’t want to mess up the gift. But turns out it was a good decision. He’s happy, I don’t hear complaints anymore, so I guess that’s the best review I can give.

Item was delivered in great condition (although the packaging was slapdash at best), and after having it now for 2mths I can confirm it is a quality product.
I do video editing and my old PC was creaking while trying to do anything. Now, it is a breeze, and I have also started streaming on Twitch due to the PC allowing me to do so properly.

I’m not usually the kind of person who…
I’m not usually the kind of person who leaves reviews, but this time I decided to write one because the experience has honestly been really good and maybe it will help someone else decide.. Around two years ago I bought a Lenovo laptop from Powerimp Electronics at the time I just needed something reliable for everyday use and work. I’m not a very technical person, so I wasn’t looking for anything complicated, just something that works smoothly, turns on fast, and doesn’t cause problems all the time. The buying process itself was simple. The customer support were actually helpful they explained the differences between models in a normal way and didn’t try to push me into buying the most expensive option. Instead, they asked what I actually needed, which I appreciated because that’s not always the case in these kinds of stores. Since then, the laptop has been working really well. I use it pretty much every day browsing, work tasks etc. Over the whole time I’ve had it, I haven’t had any serious issues. The battery is still holding up quite well considering it’s been a couple of years. Of course it’s not like brand new, but still more than good enough for daily use. There was one time I had a question about a setting I think it was related to an update, so I contacted support. I was actually surprised how quickly they responded and more importantly, they explained everything in a simple way without using too much technical language. Even for someone like me, it was easy to understand and fix. Another thing I like is the overall build and feel of the laptop. It doesn’t feel cheap, the keyboard is comfortable to use, and the screen is good my eyes don’t get tired quickly even after longer sessions. Over time, there haven’t been any random issues or weird problems, which was one of my main concerns when buying it. Of course, nothing is perfect. If I open too many programs at once, you can feel it slowing down a bit, but realistically that’s expected for this type of laptop and how I use it. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It’s been reliable, does what I need, and the support experience was positive as well. I’d definitely consider buying from them again in the future.

No product received and no communication, threats made after cancellation
After complaining that no product was forthcoming (order placed Sept 25th 2025) I finally received a message from Edward citing personal reasons for the delay and a Royal Mail delivery number which is still awaiting dispatch almost one month later! All further communication since then has been ignored, including requests for cancellation and refund. I prefer to shop with small businesses and I don't mind being patient but avoid this company not worth the hassle.
UPDATE
The first thing to be aware of is that the products on Powerimp are all REFURBS and not new. At the time of writing this is unclear from the listings and the only place it is stated on the website is in the info about the warranty, which is misleading.
After waiting nearly a month and receiving no reply for requests for cancellation and refund, I informed my cardholder and they put a stop on the payment.
The product then arrived. It arrived unsuitably packaged in a thin layer of bubble wrap and a thin envelope, no box. I wrote immedately to Powerimp saying that I had cancelled the order, did not want the product and requested a return label in or to send it back.
I received an email reply stating that since I had received the parcel and stopped the payment I was committing serious consumer fraud. Powerimp stated that failure to reinstate payment would result in legal escalations.
Powerimp stated that no return label would be provided until the chargeback was withdrawn and that the case had been referred to the fraud and compliance team of the bank.
I tried reasoning with Powerimp, explaining the timeline of events and my consumer rights, but no to avail.
I was also asked to remove my Trustpilot review on numerous occasions throughout our correspondence (which is against Trustpilots policy) as well as being threatened about defamation.
Powerimp finally offered to send a return label on condition that I removed my review. When I refused Powerimp stated that they were beginning an internal review of the matter, without sending the return label and that they would get back to me in due course. At this point I ceased correspondence with them.
The bank requested a record of the correspondence with Powerimp in order to investigate the dispute. On December 3rd 2025 they upheld in my favour and the matter closed.
This was a stressful and unpleasant experience and I would strongly urge any potential customers to avoid.

I waited over 2 weeks to recive my sons laptop, I had been constantly reaching out to powerimp electronics with no luck untill I said I am getting the police involved. Then I received a email saying they had been in a accident and was in hospital but he has said this to other people in the reviews. When I did finally recive the laptop it was boxed and wrapped horrible, and my son tried to play a low graphics game on this laptop was a gaming laptop acer predator and yet it was struggling playing this low graphics game called Re:Legend. The GPU that is supposed to be in this gaming laptop either broken or is none existent and he is refusing to give me a refund for it saying the returns has run out. This is still an ongoing situation as I type this, I would completely avoid this site and run to the hills so you dont have to go through what me and others have gone through.

AVOID: Also, as this company will no doubt try to soften my review with the usual responses, I have digital and photographic evidence of everything should anyone wish to see it, to show my review is accurate and fair.
This company are appalling.
25th Feb: Ordered a Dell G15 i7 laptop and paid extra for upgrading from 512GB SSD to 1TB plus extra RAM from 16GB to 32GB.
28th Feb: The laptop should have been received by now (according to their website) but instead I was only now being graced with a Yodel tracking number.
5th March: After still not seeing any movement via Yodel, I finally get a communication to say (and you'll never guess...) they had been in hospital...just like other excuses given to other reviews left at entirely different times. Was advised my laptop was on route to the post office.
6th March: Yodel still showing as awaiting parcel from sender. So, I contact Powerimp to clarify how this was the case given it was on route to the post office the day before. I also queried that the upgrades above have been made. The response contained nothing about the "on route" point, and simply said yes that the 1TB SSD and 32GB RAM upgrades were done plus a "an extra present"
9th March: (12 days after ordering) I finally received a recycled tired looking box and the laptop. I have photographs to prove what im about to say: Imagine my concern when I opened the laptop and saw i5 sticker. Thats odd I thought, I bought an i7. So I went in to check and sure enough, an i5. Next, yes the 32GB RAM was complete. But, the SSD was only 512gb and I verified this. Here's the best bit, the extra present was a 128gb SSD. Still only tallying to 640GB far from the 1TB I paid for. And yes, I checked to see if two separate SSD's or split ones, but no. I write to Powerimp detailing my disgust at my experience
10th March: Response from Powerimp stating that their health is the reason for the poor service and the sending of the wrong laptop. They offered £10 for me to return the laptop, however knowing I was dealing with a sub standard company, I had already paid £80 for a fully insured and tracked, signed for, return of this laptop. I promptly advised Powerimp of this return and that they will receive the laptop before Friday 13th March.
The response to the above, was to offer me a £100 refund for the i5 vice i7 and that they didnt understand what I meant by SSD not being 1TB
Again,I advise Powerimp that I need to be crystal clear in that I've returned the laptop.
11th March: Powerimp respond by saying "Sorry, is it only 512GB in the laptop?" Further advising me to open "My computer" and send him pictures. Pictures that I already attached on 10th March.
I respond by asking if he is actually reading my emails...I have sent the laptop back 36 hours ago, by this point.
The response from Powerimp??...."Type disk utility in the windows search....." Yet again, proof my emails aren't being read
Then I get another email with nothing but a mobile number. I ring them within 15 minutes. After a quick summary of "I dont have the laptop, its on itd way back to you" I get them to confirm that my full refund of £1126.99 is going to be paid. He said yes, as soon as he receives the laptop back. By this point that should be within the next 48hrs.
12th March: I receive confirmation of the goods being received by Powerimp so I write to advise of this and that I look forward to getting my money back now.
13th March: After no response, I ask for acknowledgement of the above point and again for my money back. No response received
16th March: I send another email this time advising of a final notice before action and that under Consumer Rights Act, I am entitled to this money, and failure.to do so within the next 7 days will result in starting formal action via my bank, Trading Standards, and County Court Claims.
No response received.
23rd March: Deadline reached and start a chargeback process via my bank.
27th March (Today): Have written one final email to advise legal action imminent to get my money back and strongly suggest Powerimp resolve this within 48hrs. I have also advised Trading Standards and will be starting a county court claim by Tuesday 31st March if nothing received.
This company are appalling. Clearly a one man outfit who cannot have the capital to refund customers. As I say, I know they will try to soften this with whatever on their website etc etc. All Ill say is, I have video and photo proof and digital evidence of everything I have said and I am more than happy to share it.
Absolutely disgusting service. I feel so strongly about this that this is my first ever review as I dont normally do this. But please, take heed and seriously consider if this is the sort of company you want any dealings with.

Day 1 (20 Feb): Ordered laptop.
Day 2: Checked delivery schedule which stated 2 business days.
Day 4: Followed up regarding delivery and was advised I would receive a tracking number the next day.
Day 5: Tracking number received, however the parcel was not scheduled to be sent via Yodel until the following week.
Day 12 (4 March): Laptop delivered. Although the laptop had upgraded CPU/GPU specifications compared to the original order, it did not include the advertised 1TB SSD storage configuration and one of the keyboard keys was faulty. I requested a refund.
There then followed a number of emails attempting to persuade us to keep the laptop, including an offer of a small partial refund. I declined and requested a full refund.
The laptop was returned with tracked delivery.
By Day 24 I had still not received any meaningful update regarding the refund process.
Update 26/03/26:
Ten days after the laptop was delivered back to Powerimp, and after this review was posted, I received an email apologising for the delay and citing personal reasons. I was advised the return had been received and that the refund would be completed shortly.
A further email the next day again stated that the refund was being processed, and also requested removal of the review.
After I later posted a more detailed Google review, I received further emails disputing parts of my review and stating that screen damage had been identified after return, which I disputed.
I retained photographs of the laptop before return together with all correspondence.
Update 20/04/2026:
A full refund was eventually issued through Klarna.
The retailer has since contacted me requesting that the reviews be amended or removed and stated that legal action may otherwise be considered.
This review reflects my personal experience with this transaction.
