Pownall and Sons Airgun and Angling specialists Avis

My hunting knives arrived in great condition.. And I was asked to provide ID. Which I thought was incredible and responsible. I'm a Wild camper, a mountaineer and a medic. And I would hate to give anyone a knife who didn't deserve or respect it.

Was on holiday in Gt Yarmouth and decided to have a look in the shop wanted a sight for my rifle got talking to staff about a new rifle they suggested one for me but as I was on holiday I would not be able to take it with me they said we deliver to Birmingham weekly I was very surprised so I waited a few days then ordered one they kept me in touch at all times and delivered when they said they would very friendly and polite all staff including driver gave a time slot and arrived in that slot would definitely use again regardless of distance from me

I visited Pownalls in passing, during January 2025, the guys in the shop were really helpful with my purchase at that time, so, I knew I’d buy from them again, a month ago I bought an air rifle from them online, they delivered it personally to my door In Tyne and Wear, as they needed to see Identification, the delivery charge was only £20, (this is much cheaper than other suppliers) , it arrived in perfect condition and the guy who delivered it is an absolute credit to Pownalls, great bloke.

Goods as described

My Gamo Phox bundle is my fifth purchase and my third personal delivery to my door, what can I say that I haven’t said in my other reviews?? If I wasn’t more than happy I wouldn’t keep returning, even though I have a very good air gun shop just a few miles away from me I still make Pownalls my first port of call for my air gun needs, I’ve never found them wanting when it comes to customer service, it’s second to none and I am always happy with my purchases and the service that accompanies it. Thankyou Pownalls, it’s always much appreciated!!👍

Your Shop window display has always been an attraction and the shop a pleasure to visit Friendly informative /Helpful Staff.I always admire it on my visits to Yarmouth.

Great service and delivery.
I would highly recommend Pownall & Sons.

I recently purchased an air rifle from Pownalls and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The website was easy to use, the checkout process was clear, and I received prompt email confirmations throughout.

Delivery was faster than expected, and the item arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition. The product matched the description exactly and performs as expected.

Overall, I’m very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Pownalls to anyone looking for quality products and a hassle-free shopping experience.

Found a gun I liked and I got it. Easy to order, smooth delivery. Works as expected. The only downside is I believed it’s coming with an optical scope and it didn’t but it still a great air gun. Thanks

Fast prompt delivery ,pleasant staff ,fair prices ,great product

I was unavailable on delivery day , but Pownalls let me use a neighbour as long as they were over 18 ,and I was asked to leave my driving licence so as to prove it was me who ordered the rifle - an excellent security precaution.
Highly recommended ,and would certainly use Pownalls in the future.
