Practice Plus Group Hospitals - Emersons Green Avis 

I was first seen by Dct Kenan Dehne at Practise Plus in Emmersons Green probably about 3 years ago with problems with my knee's. The worst one was my left knee. He immediately saw my problem and started to lay out a course of treatment that was needed. I can honestly say that Dct Dehne is a true professional in what he does. On each occasion when I saw him he explained in detail what the next step in the treatment was, and how he would go about treating me. I am no virtually pain free in my left knee, and very soon we will start a treatment plan for my right knee.
I cannot fault the care and treatment that I have from all the staff at Emmersons Green Hospital, from the moment you arrive at reception, right through all the staff you go to, x-rays, physio therapy, to the nurses and doctors who look after you in recovery and on the ward is first class. Also I must mention the cooking staff. They give you the best meals that I have had in any hospital that I've been in. Dct Dehne is a true professional in his line of work. He knows how to look after his patients in a professional manner.
I would recommend Practice Plus Emmersons Green to anyone. I can honestly say it's the best hospital in the area.

Its important for patients to know that the emerson Green hospital staff are carefuul and diligent at all times , this specific visit was after an operation tp see the physios again
We saw Simon and were most pleased with his knowledge and advice on how to treat the operated knee (replacement. , and unfortunately alsoa Drop foot condition- giving me hope for a good recovery soon .

All the staff from reception to everyone involved in my surgery and discharge were amazing. They gave detailed information about the procedure and their kindness eased my anxiousness. I will recommend this hospital.

I was seen very quickly at the Reception desk and given the forms to fill out. The treatment centre was very clean and well run with lots of friendly, polite, attentive staff. The surgeon I saw - Olga Rutka- was very friendly and reassuring and gave me lots of information about the procedure. I did wonder afterwards why this initial appointment and the follow up one to do the pre-op tests couldn't have been condensed into one longer appointment to save trips to the hospital. However, my first impressions have been very positive.

Everything was explained clearly before the operation, everyone was very helpful and it all went smoothly.

Simon the physio is fantastic got me on the road to recovery. Great people excellent service can't say anything bad about the place.

I’ve had 2 separate procedures for my surgery and oral surgeon Mo and the nurses have done brilliantly. They’re lovely people too, they made my whole experience as comfortable and efficient as it could be. I’m glad I’ve done it here.

The folly brook cafe staff have to be the rudest i have ever had the misfortune to come across, i would not recommend this place to anyone and will than happy to have an in depth conversation about it to someone with a brain cell

Everybody we came into contact with from the moment we entered the building has been attentive, personable and very reassuring.

Excellent communication and fast booking. A great surgeon too. Overall a very good experience.

On the 9th May I came to Practice Plus Group for a tooth removal and I was very very pleased with the way I was treated and made to feel relaxed as I am 82 years old i was not looking forward to it but the team in the surgery was absolutely brilliant many thanks

I was super scare of needles had a tooth removed yesterday thanks to the surgen who really looked after me, today i feel fantastic super great staff

The treatment was carried out with a great deal of skill, I felt informed and included in the process. Lovely people

Lovely staff, felt so relaxed and at ease.

The whole day case procedure carried out really well. From arrival, pre-op, post-op and discharge. Very pleasant, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended if you have a choice in where your operation is carried out.

Hospital easy to find coming from Gloucestershire. No fee to park.
Went in to my appointment on time.
Paper filling exercise a bit painful but I’m used to that Seems it then needed inputting on the computer slight waste of time. Procedure went well as I was put out. Unfortunately I was then sent on my way still full of anaesthetic. First realised where I was back in the waiting room. No recollection of coming out of theatre. I have had this procedure many times at BRI and always wake up in a bed on a ward and made to wait half an hour before I was allowed to go. I felt I was pushed out of the door far too soon. Slept all the way home in the car. Luckily came to no harm !

The staff made the whole process seamless for my replacement hip operation, from the initial consultation and surgery through to discharge and a follow up phone call.

My initial pre-op assessment appointment happened on Tuesday, having emailed for the first time on the previous Friday - this was followed up by a phone call on Saturday morning with an appointment, with the first available surgeon. All very impressive.

As a retired orthopaedic radiographer, I was well aware of what I needed. My situation was dire - a widow, 81 and living alone, my pain and disability had worsened over the previous six months to a level I wouldn't have believed possible, in that timeframe. The NHS had bumped me back another six months, with no promises, of course . . . So I had to pay - and I'm so very glad I did !!

Ultimately, circumstances led to a change of surgeon, and I met Mr Abdulsattar, who I had actually hoped to see, on the day of the surgery !

Spinal block and mild sedation were excellent. First on the list at 8am, I was twiddling my toes back on the ward by 10.30am !! The whole experience was absolutely excellent. If I had a criticism, it would have been for lighter food choices on the menu, for post-op patients !!!

This surgery was a full £5k less than Swindon, where I live. so that made it possible for me.

I am recommending this hospital to everyone I meet, osteoarthritis is such an unfortunately common problem, but incredibly difficult to live with.

Mr Abdulsattar, and the entire team, have given me my life back - now in the third week of an amazingly smooth, and pain-free, recovery, I now find it hard to believe how I was, just three weeks ago !!!
